  1. i wouldnt count hickman county out just yet. I believe each team has a chance when they step out on to the floor. A couple of quick reminders for all: 1. Hickman county has had spirit week this week. 2. Senior Lan Warren has recovered from an injury and has provided a spark to the bulldog team. It has taken a couple of games to bounce back but Lan and the dawgs seem to be settling into a nice rhythm with tournament play approaching. 3. Hickman County is a tough gym to play at. The bulldogs always play you tough at home. Ask some of the district teams that have had a scare this season if you believe otherwise. So dont count them out just yet. We'll see tommorrow night
  2. i think that alongside franklin and hillsboro in the region tournament will be ravenwood and hickman county. Ravenwood always plays every team close and Hickman has been hot as of late so we will see here in a couple of weeks around tournament time. It's going to be fun.
  3. what are going to be the seeds in this tournament and who do you think will come out on top? Will there be upsets or will the regular season records prevail in tournament play? Input?
  4. they should have beaten hillsboro. they pretty much gave that game away. a couple of mistakes here and there cost them the ball game, but they played hard and i would be afraid to play this team around this time...
  5. I watched Ravenwood play the other night and they looked to have a pretty fundamentally sound team. They can flat out shoot the rock. I dont know how the season will stack up for this district though. Each team has the ability to come out and pull an upset on any given night. Just think back to last year in the district tourny when hillwood made a run. I'd definately keep an eye on this district.
  6. Hickman lost by 13. Dickson had a solid game. Corey Pfleiger hit some big shots, and was key in the win. Hickman had an off night from every on the floor, but im sure they will bounce back.
  7. not without a strong fight from the other teams in the district... i wouldnt claim to be #1 so early
  8. Matthew Dotson maybe? Just committed to University of Tennessee and can do it all. Very versatile player who can step out and play the perimeter when needed or dominate on the inside. I expect great things from him this year
  9. I think 11-AAA is a very tough district to compete in. Any team could pull an upset on any given night. Each team is talented and has the capabilities to succeed. From what i have heard, Franklin and Hickman County are looking very strong this year. As well as Hillsboro and Ravenwood who are always there to sneak up on you. I havent heard much about Centennial or any of the other teams remaining in the district. I thought Centennial and maybe Hillwood had a number of guys graduate?
  10. what about the allen kid for portland at quarterback? is he the real deal? some say he is and his stats are among the best in the state. I'm guessing if he shows up to play, Portland wins over Livingston in a close one
  11. not really sure bout the other games, i believe on saturday, Dickson won all of its games. Hickman won 5-3 over Harpeth and 1-0 over Sycamore.
  12. would sure help out some of us in the district if yall did by some chance upset them
  13. votes are in dotson is the MVP
