thank you jj. i would tend to disagree with you about Richland. yes, their facilities are among the best in Nashville, but they just can't beat those of Belle Meade and Hillwood Country Clubs. yes, richland boasts better looking courts and a superior locker room (the hot tub is amazing), but they do not provide the depth that is required to deam it the best in Nashville. it lacks a variety of courts, only boasting outdoor clay and hard surfaces and no indoor facilities like belle meade and hillwood have for winter practice or even grass courts as hillwood does.

i hear private school parents can hit pretty hard with their wallets if you don't duck.

well it seems we've covered all the basic tennis necessities: court sufaces, raquets, strings, but what of grips, balls, and apparail? which brands/types really set appart the the tennis "players" from the "competetors"?
