Here are my picks to go to state from the West: Raliegh Egypt, Haywood, Bolivar, and Liberty The runner-up in the Bolivar and Liberty district will have to go to Giles Co. and think that they will win that substate game.

Any team can get pumped up for a game here or there. North Side has to get pumped up for every game because they play any pansies. The only easy team that is easy is Hardin Co. but we have to play them because they are in our district. Last year both teams in the AA champ, and both teams from the AAA champ were from West Tenn. The district, regional, and substate games are much more intense and harder to win than Middle and East Tennessee. Richard Delk is still on crutches and will not play tonight against Hardin Co.

Why again does North Side here again not move up or down in the polls? Beech fell, but White Station jumped ahead of them. I DARE any team in Middle or East Tennessee to play North Side's schedule. I DARE them! I dare any team to come play the AA schedule that we play. With the present AP polls, North Side has played a ranked team nine times (Ridge twice, Bolivar twice, Haywood thrice, Liberty twice) I dare any team to play these teams that North SIde plays night in and night out and have the smae record as North Side. These teams would be begging for mercy. North Side plays the hardest schedule this season and we have only lost 4 times. I am sure that since we lost to an awesome Haywood team with out one of the stud Delk twins we will fall out of the rankings. But we have played some tough competion. I would like anyone to name an easy team that North Side has played, that is not in our district. None. If we can get Richard back to 100% by tournament time, teams had better watch out. Because we will make another run like we made last year and flabbergast everyone. WHo gave NS as single prop last year? NOT A SINGLE PERSON!!! And what did North Side do, they made it all the way to the state championship where the refs allowed White Station to win. So an teams want to take my Dare? Some will when Substate gets here and a Giles Co. region team plays the ruuner-up from the Bolivar region. It is past time for Norht SIde to get props this year

Here are some my thoughts on the game as being apart of North Side's grad assistant. NS was without Richard Delk who is a very vital part of the team. North Side has no bench to begin with and without Richard the bench is reduced to below nothing. With two minutes left in the game, NS was down by two with the ball, and Mr. Oil of Olay ref thought up a false traveling call while Reginald was drving to the basket. My favorite was the ref giving Coach Hill a technical for saying (and I quote) "That was a Rudy Pooh call!" I have heard coaches say much worse to refs and get nothing called. The refs were ridiculous last night, some of the worse that NS coaching staff has ever dealt with (although the refs for the state champ last year were worse. The refs called Reginald for traveling 6 times. I do not think that a senior who has signed with Miss. St. will travel 6 times in one game. WHile mind you at the other end Liggins and Singleton where doing the shuffle all night long under the basket with the referees I guess just picking their butts. I am not saying that Haywood is a bad team, but lets play that game again with Richard Delk and refs that are not biased either way, and we will see who wins.

North Side boys did not play USJ on Jan. 27. It was a girls only game, so if you could delete that game from North Side's boys schedule it would be greatly appreciated.

If someone could change these things on the North Side's girls schedule, it would be greatly appreciated: Delete these games: Dec. 6 vs. USJ Dec. 10 vs. Waverly Feb. 8 vs. Cordova Change the Jan. 7 vs. Hardin Co. to a District game and Change Nov. 23 vs. Ridgeway to a normal game and not a regional game Thank you for the help

When is the playday down at Shelbyville? I heard that of course Shelbyville will be there, Mt. Juliet, and North Side. Those are 3 of the top teams in the state. Who else will be there?Please pass on info

The dunk was actually done by Richard Delk not Reginald. That was by far the best dunk of the tournament. Because if you go back and watch the tape. Dell Coleman steals it on the other end, dribbles to the left corner. Passes out top to Ramone Williams who shoots a three. At that time, Richard is not even past half court. But he takes the ball instride and dunks over Jamont Gordan, the Jefferson kid, and his brother Reginald. It was sweet.

I was at the game last night, sitting on the very first row. And all I have to say is that Jamont Gordon got schooled. He got embarassed. Reginald Delk is 10x better that Jamont. He just got alll kinds of frustrated last night. And he has a defense of "0". Glencliff at all times left a player open somewhere, usually a Delk behind the 3 point line and they got the ball and shot. I am not at all impressed by what I saw in Gordon. I guess his time at Oak Hill Academy might improve him.

Yes we all know Shelbyville recruits. They doubled up on Sha everytime she touched the ball. THe difference in the ballgame was that inthe first half the referees would not call a foul while Shelbyville was full court pressing. Shelbyville was playing football not basketball. Our center had aseperated shoulder, Amber sprained her wrist, and Sha sprained her wrist and hurt her back. Sha hurt her back when Newman tucked the ball, took 3 steps and tackled her to the grond. Newman had plenty of time to slow down. WHat hapened on the court Thurs. night was child abuse and it continued last night against Greenville when a girl left the game after a chop to the throat and she could no breath. Shelbyville plays very very dirty unlesstherefs call it. And I do have to say that Little Insell got out coached last night against Greenville.

The Delk twins will not be nervous either. I have never seen the Delk twins nervous before a game. North Side will be ready for Glencliff, No doubt. But we will jus have to wait and see who wins. I have no doubt this will be a great game with some great matchups. And Fairley and North Side being ranked in the top 4 is no bluff. Both teams are great teams. I would like to see any team from TN beat White Station like Fairley did, and would like to see any team beat a tremendous ball club in Dyersburg 4 times like North Side did. Region 7 and Region 8are two top Regions. All have to say is that Glencliff better bring thier "A" game.

North Sie defeateded Dyersbug 70-64. Reginald Delk led all scores with 30. Ramone Williams had a triple-double with 11 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 steals. Dell Coleman had 11 points, Richard Delk had 11 points, Jerrell Shanklin had 5 points, and Zak Boylan had 2. Dyersburg could not penatrate NS's zone a had 21 turnovers. Jeremy Taylor was held to 16 points. North Side won the 13-AAA disrict crwn for the 5th time in 6 years. Hudson is far from agressive. He is a very weak post player. The white boy that backs him up is much more agressive. LaVergne has a long road ahead just to make it to the state tourney much less make it even to the championship game and much less win it.

The game was to be made up Monday night according to both coaches, but the snow cancelled the game. But then again would this have been a game. Come on who does Hardin Co have. I know North Side plays at Ripley tonight. And since district begins Fri. I doubt the game will be made up. How is Hardin Co. boys a 3 seed i the district. Did theybeat JCM once?

The game will be made up Monday night at Hardin Co. if weather permits.

Reginald Delk of North Side has a ton of dunks including a 360 against J-CM and a 2 reverse dunks against Dyersburg.

North Side played outstanding defense and was able to shut Dyesburg down. North Side was unable to get any calls all night, but they persevered and came out victorious. And since #4 in the AP Bainerd lost THursday and #3 in the AP Fairley lost last night, I guess Nort Side will be #3 when te new poll comeout next week. And all I can say to the Dyersburg fans that did nothing but curse at the Noth Side fans all night is: WHO'S THE TEAM?

Why was Jeremy Taylor out? Was he injured?

North Side improved thier record to 10-1. THey beat Austin East 97-77. THe score of quarters went: NS 21 30 23 23 AE 13 23 23 18 I know for AE Bogus had 20. North Side was led by Reginald Delk with 26 points and 7 rebounds, Dell Coleman had 22 poits and 9 rebounds, Ramone Williams had 20 points, Jarell Shanklin had 12 points and 9 rebounds, and Richard Delk had 9 points and 5 blocks. North Side outrebounded AE by 12. North Side came out and shot very well. NS now plays Mem. Melrose tomorrow. Melrose lost tonight to Ripley by 7, and NS beat Ripley a few weeks ago by like 25. So this could be a good game. So for NAKIASINE NS is no fluke; they are the real thing. And all I have to say again is : WHO'S THE TEAM?

Will there be anyway to listen to the games over the computer?

First of all BlueFan2 Zak did not elbow Rice going up for the rebound. They both came down with the ball. The ref signaled jump ball. And when Zak would not release the ball. Rice made a fist and hit Zak in the chest with the ref right there. WHy also were there only two refs and not three? Because Ridgeway is too cheap. NAKIASHINE, do you know what you are talking about. You can not make up your mind on anything. The whole post was about the physical nature of Ridgeway and then you come on here talking about being physical will beat North Side. We beat Ridgeway twice and they are physical. We play physical too. How can you say that North Side has not answer to those Bolivar players whe we beat the team once and Reginald Delk barely played. We played poorly against South Side but revenge wil come Jan. 8 when we visit The Hawks Nest. You need to think before you talk. BBcoach17, there are no AAA schools in West TN other than our district. There is us, JCM, Dyersburg, and Hardin County. So we have to play AA schools. Ad with Memphis we do play some AAA schools like Bolton twice, we used to play Munford, and Cordova. And for other Memphis teams we play Memphis Melorose in the x-mas tourney. We do have tons of money to travel the state and play the top notch AAA clubs. If you would like to donate the money for our buses we would be glad to travel and play any team you like. We can not act like Ridgeway all of a sudden popped on the scene; they won AA state 2 years ago and were runners up last year. Haywood was in state last year and so was South Side and Bolivar was one shot away. Austin East which we play Fri usually makes it to state. We play top quality opponents. So you too need to think before you speak.

North Side went down to Ridgeway tonight and beat them 67-63. North Side did not have the lead until about 5 min left in the game. North Side came out and played really hard. North Side had to also beat the refs who did not call the game fairly. The quarter scoring went: NS 16 12 16 23 - 67 Ridge 19 18 14 12 - 63 North Side shot very well overall and hit 73% of their free thorws. Jarell Shanklin had 13 points, Dell Coleman had 7 points, Ramon Williams had 15, Richard Delk had 10, and Reginald Delk had a game high 22. Ridgeway had 3 in double figures Pierre Niles with 16, Michael Rice with 10, and Jordan Mincy with 10. Ridgeway shot 40% overall, 31% from 3 and 46% from the free throw line. Back to the refs for a second, but since when were elbows to the stomach and a player making a fist and hit another player in the chest legal. Michael Rice of Ridgeway elbowed people all night, and their was one instance when he and Zak Boylan for North Side were fighting for a rebound and after the whistle Michael Rice made a fist and hit him. Ridgeway has very low sportsmanship. North Side is now done til after Christmas. They play in a Christmas tourney on Dec. 26 against Austin East and on Dec. 27 against Memphis Melrose. All I have to say no is: WHO'S THE TEAM?
