I hope i don't get jumped on Friday night. But i think that will be pretty hard to do since i will be sitting on the Soddy side. If i was Soddy i would want to be the underdog. It seems to light a fire underneath teams. Soddy could thrive off that and pull off what most would call an upset!.. Joeboxer don't you have something else to do... like bug your sister!

Coming from somebody who broke a few tackles in his day... Momo Colbert is a good back that can break a lot of tackles. He is shifty....he is not really powerful but he is hard to get a hold of.

I think that Doodle is a great linebacker but i don't see him going D-1 no offense to him. I think that he can go D-2 for sure. I just hope that he doesn't pick utc (j/k i have some friends that play there).... hopefully he will go somewhere

imaowl... did you graduate in 2002 or 03.....because i am starting to get a clue on who you are.....i hope that the ooltawah vs. Soddy game is as good as advertised. The only think about ranking both of them so high is that they haven't really played anybody yet... But as far as chattanooga goes they are defiently two of the top teams....see ya at the game! I don't know if i would rank ooltawah and soddy that high just yet. They really have played that much strong competetion just yet. These last three weeks should tell the true strength of those teams.. Good luck to both

I think it is funny to listen to yall fight over all this. We can talk all we want to on this site about who has the advantage here and there but what is comes down to is who shows up and plays. I think which ever defense can step up the most is going to be the most determining factor. If soddy can throw the ball i think they will take a close game. My final prediction is going to be....... Actually, i have not fiqured out who you are. Yes i will be there. I have a few ideas who you might be. I thought at first you were Adam Howard but that is not it. Actually Soddy did finish fourth that year in the region....they played Riverdale in the first round. I was a freshman... go trojans. Krenzel nice game Ohio State had last week against Northwestern uh??

First of all Soddy needs to beat McMinn. I also think that Soddy gets fired up for the Owls because with Red Bank being down the last past couple of years it has led to the rise of new big rivals. The Trojans and Owls should be a dandy. They are the only two Hamilton County schools that are left in 5A.......i guess it is the two biggest kids on the block... I hope neither team gets upset this week so we can see two undefeated teams... I also hope soddy wins so i can have bragging rights over all the former Owls that i played flag football with...(Erik Henderson....Justin Oaks.....Mark Blasengame...Adam Howard)....just to name a few! What team is the most dominate that you ever saw or had the privilage to play against???? I would have to unfourtunatly have to go with the Red Bank state championship team of 2000. That team could just flat out play. They only had about 1 close game all year. The rest.....like us.......were just pushed aside on their journey to the state championship! Let me know what you guys think

Like i said ealier i believe that Soddy's passing attack will create some problems for McMinn this week. I have just heard rumors that the Soddy team is getting cocky. NOt my personel opinion just what i have heard from some people. Either way like i said ealier in the thread i think that Soddy will come out and suprise everybody and continue their best season since 1997. I think the key obviously will be mixing in the pass and the run. Orr, Ricketts, Atchley will have to have big games for the trojans. MoMo also will be a key factor i believe. Might have a big game this week Go Trojans!!!!

I believe that Soddy will pull this one out. They haven't looked that great the last two weeks, but continue to find a way to win and that is all that matters. The Trojans air attack continues to look strong, and i believe that combined with the running of MoMo is causing headache for defensive coordinators. It has been a while since the coordinators around here had to worry about a substanial passing attack (no offense to any former wide-outs or Qb's) The wing t just didn't provide a efficient passing attack. SD with their new found offense survives a closer game then most think. Soddy....35 McMinn.....21 ironic that is the score of my senior year....except we got beat!!!!

Well! Well! Well! havent posted in a while and i thought that i would give my opinion on the matter. Soddy has looked very strong at time this year but wasn't at their best against Hixson. You also have to take into consideration that they played two games in one week! That can be tough on a football player's body. I agree with hotsauce that they need to focus on the game ahead of them. Oh yeah and easy houtsauce i played for glen ryan. Anyway i think that if soddy plays their game they have a shot at running the tabe! NOw winning the state title might be a diffrent story. Good Luck guys!! thumb

I would also have to say Wilkes from Central is the best around Chattanooga. Don't necessarily like is attitude on the field but you can't doubt that he is an awesome shortstop. He really isn't that bad off the field but anyway....

Did Soddy play all their starters?? Or did soddy have a bad game. Or is East Ridge just that good???

I think that Vaughn is a solid pick for one of the top juniors. He is come a long way on his catching and will be very solid this year. He is also a threat to hit the long ball from time to time. Good luck to alex and all of soddy daisy.
