Kevin Durant is the real deal. He should be the first player drafted. The only way he can get more props then Melo' is to win a nat'l championship. That ain't gonna happen. OJ Mayo will be the next Schea Cotton.................. He went to Mater Dei, was a can't miss prospect, etc. Was a bust. Just like OJ will be.

You misunderstood his post. Jamie plays in 12-aaa. He is giving Jamie props from another district (11-aaa). It is nice to see Jamie get recognition from a rival district. Jamie also is an outstanding student(much like Mo Miller). He is going to Vanderbilt(on scholarship) to play football. He could easily not dedicate himself to basketball. That is the type of player he is(he is going to do the best he can, any sport as well as the classroom). Considering what Jamie is accomplishing on the basketball court with basketball being his SECOND sport is amazing. He has started all four years at Whites Creek.

Does anyone know where the games will be played?? and when??? What teams are good this yr? Haynes, MLK, and JFK on the boys side.

Anyone with details? I know Wells is off the team. Can Antioch still remain strong without Wells. Also I hear McAdoo may have injured himself towards the end of the HL game. Can someone confirm? With McGavock and Whites Creek coming up can Antioch get through this tough stretch? I am very impressed with McGavock. I don't want to see them anytime soon. They are very good. Kilcrease and Woods have played real well for them. Also Simms uses his bench very well. Looks like WC will win the district even if Antioch beats them next Tuesday. The Creek should beat Stratford the other district game left on their schedule.

Maplewood beat Pearl-Cohn Friday(8/19). McGavock beat East Lit. on Friday(8/19).

Please stop with the asinine Jamie replies. Jamie did his thing. Whites Creek lost the game. He is a team player not a ball hog. Other players on their team have to step up. BA's defense and garrett did not slow Jamie down. He averages 22 points and he scored 19. He hit shots with garrett in his face or hacking him. No way BA stopped Jamie. The problem was Whites Creek didn't stop BA. Stallings lit them up, Wright and Brown had their way inside. Too many countless lay ups. Whites Creek's D lost the game or lack thereof.

Actually Graham hit the long 3 to send it to OT. Brian Wright was the difference he killed us. Also BA didn't miss a FT(one or two at the most if they did). Creek missed at least 10 FT's. Good game BA, you deserved to win, no excuses.

Hopefully he'll practice this time. his teammates don't like him being able to just show up and play.......... not to take anything away from MLK. MLK is a good team.

That is a tough remaining schedule. Antioch probably the only gimme game. I hear that Robert Wade will be playing with the Maplewood Freshman come tourney time. That will change the whole scheme of things. Whoever Franklins post player is he won't have a chance against him.

I am glad Brandan Wright and Josh Bone are gone. Creek by 7. Brian Wright will pose problems. Can BA contain J. Graham?? Probably not.

At least MLK won. I see they decided to play Gerald. I WAS VERY disappointed that they didn't let him play but about 8 mins. against W C. I hear Doc Shelton is very sick and is/was in the hospital. My prayers go out to him and his family. I agree with Jamie playing bball for Vandy. Coach Stallings will get to see first hand next tuesday when Jamie plays BA. Stallings son plays for BA. Ronald Curry did it for NC Tarheels. Now a WR for oakland raiders. Donavan McNabb even played a little bball at syracuse. T.O. played a little bball at UTC. of course jamie's attitude is much better. Julius Peppers played forward for NC. I'm sure there are several more out there that I can't think of right of the top of my head.
