OK, I could be wrong on this one, but it seems that I heard that Yost is academically ineligible this semester. PLEASE, correct me if I am wrong. I hope to be wrong because he is an awesome wrestler. Anyone know?

For some folks, we wouldn't know each other anyway. For others, it is just easier to hide behind a name and feel easier about saying what we want to say without concern of a backlash on certain topics, from those whom we know.

Sounds like an awesome idea and I am all for it! I think there will be some, of course, who will not want to challenge for fear that they will then not be "the best"! They would just rather go down in history as the "best" without further competition. It will definitely be interesting to see who shows up. Good luck in arranging this.

Not just against the kid from MBA, but he (Sumbler?) didn't do all that great with the other teams he wrestled. He will carry Rossview's team? Doubtful. Rossview has quite a few talented kids on their team & Sumbler isn't a name that is known to many, if any. Not to put the boy down, but a few wins doesn't make one a State Champion. If he wants to brag on himself, which he appears to be doing, fine, but he needs to get in there and work, prove himself & then he will find others will be doing the bragging for him!

Good one, reftn. FannieMae - I think I may have to agree with you. I have never heard of this guy & he's a junior? Hmmm, it could be as you say that he is tooting his own horn. I say, let everyone else do the telling. "The proof is in the pudding", as the saying goes.

I agree that Kyle James is an awesome wrestler. If he doesn't win state, I would be shocked! I have watched him wrestle several times already this season & he is one of the more focused and intense wrestlers I have seen so far this season. Yes, there are others, I know. I'm just commenting on James.

Kenwood always seems to have great teams show up at their duals/tournaments. I am sure this day will be no exception. I am looking forward to it. It (seriously) will be great to watch great wrestling over the holiday season.

I have watched Rouse wrestle and must say that he has greatly improved over last year. He will definitely be going to State again this year.

From what I can see of the McCallie Invitational's listing of schools, it appears that it was a tougher tournament than the one Bradley had. Of course, I haven't seen a listing of all the schools who participated in Bradley's tournament. Just a thought. What do you think?

I had really hoped that this matter would have been solved before this wrestling season. I still hope that it will be taken under consideration soon and something reasonable and fair done about it

So, are you saying that a referee was trying to help Clarksville by calling matches in their favor? I really don't think so. Surely no Ref would do that.

OK, just to say it and get it out of the way. But, it seems that some of the same teams that were there at Kenwood last year and complained, are again some of the same ones who were there this year, and complained. I am only questioning that if you weren't happy about the outcome last year, and you aren't happy with it this year, why in the world would you come back next year? (Please note, I am only making an observation on the negative comments, not the tournament. It was a tournament with top-notch talent. I enjoyed it.)

I have heard nothing but great things about Franklin this year. I know that they will be a force to be reckoned with!
