Dyersburg(6-1) travels to jackson tonight to take on the Northside (5-3). Both teams are coming off nailbiting losses. Dyersburg lost 20-14 to ripley and Northside lost by 3 to Southside. If dyersburg(3-0 in region) wins it will clinch at least a share of first place for the region and possibly clinch outright. Northside(1-2 in region) is in a much win situation to get to the playoffs. What do ya'll think is gonna happen. I say the trojans step up and win 24-14. Go Trojans

This friday the Ripley Tigers (5-1) will be coming to Dyersburg to face the undefeated Trojans (6-0). Ripley's only setback this year came last week in a close game with Covington. What do ya'll think is going to happen in this one. Go Trojans

I think dyer county stinks and dyersburg is the best and always will be. Dyer county probably won't win another game. Gibson county shouldn't even count. Our jv team beat their varsity in the jamboree. I can't believe the great andre flowers couldn't pull ya through for a victory againts week Chester Co. DC is so pathetic. Dyer County shouldn't have even been on the same field as us. All i've gotta say is that it was Nuclear power fighting against choctaws with bows and arrows. Dburg will dominate for years to come. Dyersburg is on there way to a region championship baby

If you DC fans think dburg is inexperienced you've lost your mind. We only lost 9 seniors last year and have 17 seniors back this year. And almost the whole starting lineups on both sides of the ball back. We will kill DC in every way possible. READ MY LIPS. And Dburg will only be getting better after beating 5A henry county 9tds to 0. They have one of there best lineman who just had knee surgery out with injury and he starts both ways and has started since his sophmore year. Plus John Bolan is an awesome QB even if he is inexperienced. This years team has more unity than any team the past few years. Dyersburg will be a team to reckon with this year. 4TH REGION CHAMPIONSHIP IN 7 YEARS THIS YEAR "TOGETHER WE ATTACK"

I agree totally with redtwin. It is such an inconvenience for the players on my team. I luckily already had a membership to a local gym but many of my teammates had to pay for two week memberships so they could work out. And then the slackers on the team sit around and eat potato chips and dont do anything so when they came back on Monday they about died when it came time for windsprints. THE DEAD PERIOD NEEDS TO GO THE WAY OF THE DINOSAURS

i would like to ask you what type of affiliation do you have with DC? player?former player?parent? or just a fan just wondering as for your last post i agree with most everything you said it'll be a great game and we do need to keep it a fun and great rivalry but on this message board you have to take it for what it is smack talk ..oki t doen'st mean anything its all in fun anyways see ya august 29

are you trying to threaten me by telling my coach or administraters that i was talkin smack on this board for fun i mean come on man get a life its a fun rivalry and i get a kick out of posting by the way we beat ripley unlike dc we made the playoffs for the 6th straight year and beat DC even though it was a very down year also of those players i named do you not think they are good? i'd be interested to hear which of us dburg boys are good all of those guys would start on dc's team i know that but any way lets view this as what it really is A RIVALRY and we can have fun and argue about it its not meant to hurt anyone so just have fun peace out DHS STATE CHAMPS 2003

Bobby Mathews Deshae Caldwell Ben Akes Ben Myers Andrew Edwards Roderick Simmons Barrett Anderson Trae Baker and anybody else on our defense we're gonna make cupples wish he had come to dyersburg but of course we wouldn't want him and yes i have seen him play baseball hes pretty good but he ain't all that ....anyways we're talkin bout football here he's not a qb hes not even a good football player he probably needs to stick to baseball cause i don't want him gettting hurt by the number 1 defense in the state next year DYERSBURG ALL THE WAY TO THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP

I'd have to agree with ya on that one mark. I think everybody's ready to play some ball. It'll definately be a packed JC Sawyers stadium to watch us beat the sh** out of Dyer County.
