Nothing happened to Summertown in this game. Collinwood came out and played a great game. Summertown just underestimated them. I knew they could do it though. Great job ladies! Good luck in the Tourny!!

The Collinwoood Hampshire game was cancelled due to sickness. The flu epidemic has hit Collinwood.

Good luck to the Trojanettes tomorrow nite. I'll be there cheerin yall on.. I hope that the Trojanettes come out fired up, but they have to play ALL 4 qt. to win. This being their first home game of the season should get them a lil fired up. I heard one of the girls off the team will not be playing, that she hurt her knee during practice.Hopefully she'll be back soon & this wont get the girls down. Well. I havent been on here in a while. Just wanted to wish all players in district 12a good luck tonite. Hope C'wood kicks some Richland butt in their season opener. W'boro looked pretty good when i saw them last friday. They are a pretty solid team. They are always hustling for the ball. I think that they prolly could of pulled that game out if McNutt & Davenport hadn't of foulded out. How did they do last nite vs Lewis County? Can't wait til the wboro/cwood game on dec 5.. i am looking forward to it! BubbaT

Looks like Perry County will be the team to beat this year. About the tryin to find a scorer from Cwood I think they got that under control. Wboro will still be a good team just like they have in the past. Just like Summertown. District 12a is gonna be very interesting to watch this year. But Im really confused about the first post sayin that Cwood is able to play off the court. ??? About them not bein very good, I know that these girls are workin extremely hard and they look NOTHING like they did last year..but I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

I think there will be a lot of surprises this year. My prediction is that it will be between C'wood and Perry Co. C.A will also surprise some people. I don't know much about Waynesboro but they lost their talent last year so I guess we'll just see.

I have to say that in all of my years at cwood I never recall laughing about beating clifton. I recall the trojanettes always being very sportsmanlike to clifton on and off the court. Clifton has never really been a rival for cwood.I congratulate clifton on their win against cwood even though i am a trojanette fan. I am suprised by the way u guys played against summertown. Good luck next year in your season. and please, if you can't post something nice about the teams then don't post anything at all.

Yes, this game was from last night. I was surpised by the score myself. Clifton played hard and didn't give up. I can't wait to see the Perry County vs Summertown game tonight. Good luck to both teams!

Hey Nick, you need to check the name of the person making the post before you go telling someone to stop calling people names. I didn't call anyone anything! But if someone called me a "brick house" I would take it as a complement. I think that bballbruiser was just saying that you couldn't get around her, meaning that she was good. Not trying to put her down or anything.

If I was CA I wouldn't be so happy about this win. The refs were on your side from the beginning of the game. They called fouls on Cwood everytime the girls got near them and then on Cwoods end they would let them kill. If you're going to call for a certain team the least you can do is not make it so obvious. They deliberately fouled two of Cwoods players out! Heard the boys played a good game vs CA. I went to the W'boro and Perry Co. game. Not too much I can say there. But I wish the boys lots of luck at S'town. They better bring their A game, S'town well probably be pumped after their win in double overtime vs C'wood. How did the game go the first time this two teams played?

I was at this game, and boy was it exciting! Both teams played very well, and gave it all they had. I totally agree with trojanette20, the refs let everything get out of hand. The fans from C'wood really didn't do anything. Not saying that the refs called totally aganist C'wood (they made some pretty bad calls against S'town too) But I think they should of been paying more attention to the game, not the crowd. If you were at the game you probably know what I am getting at.

I think this well be a very good game. I agree with pistachio, the two teams have a lot of talent and are both very well conditioned. But S'town does have the advantage of the home court. I think this game just might go down to the wire. But I have to say that W'boro well pull this one out! Good luck to both teams!
