from a cloudland fan, good luck maryville. Keep the streak alive. Proud to be in the same state. I have a friend who plays for Independence N.C. and they are a class program if you dont know of them. They are nationally ranked too. All I hear is how good they are and I always reply, well tenn. has maryville they are pretty awesome theirselves. the landers are totally awesome...Just because boyd beat a 2a semi finalist doesnt make them all that. The top 4 in single a teams was last yr and this yr. stronger than 2a's final four. I hope boyd isnt useing that came to compare to cloudland...Boyd has yet to play a team as strong and quick as cloudland. Not even ezell has cloudlands strength. Cloudland really wanted ezell but cpa will do....privates are going down this yr. GO LANDERS......great season boyd...

the dawgpound is ex players that gather and hound the opposing teams players by calling out their names and trying to mess with their heads. They are usually pretty loud but at finley you probably wont notice as much. It seemed to bother some of the other teams, but the action was closer to the fan... are you saying that no one out of your county plays for boyd. Yes I said county. We cannot go out of county. So why should you. Not saying you do, but some do.But that belongs on the public private board and this thread was to let cloudland know they have a lot of support and we are proud of them. I think cloudland has a shot at the privates this yr. Thats what this post is about..So if you have a private public debate take it to the proper place.

I totally agree pujo. the hole state isnt giving cloudland a chance and that is just the way we like it...It makes it so much sweeter..

why would cloudland be intimidated? I would think boyd would be intimidated if anyone. Cloudland is ranked 2 in the state. Well No. 1 now that ezell is gone...They are the real deal and they know it. Yes they will have to play their a game. At this point everyone does..Personally I think cloudland is a 14 point advantage if anything.Boyd has played the harder schedule but cloudland has sit out 2 quarters for about every game.

there are 4 left 3 are private. Cloudland is the only public school left. Regardless of how they got their, they are in the semi's. Last yr. no one said they could beat south pitt. in the semis because cloudland hadnt played anyone that good yet. Well that was the easiest game they had in the playoffs. Ezell laid a whipping on cloudland in the finals. I personally believe ezell was the better team but not by that much. Cloudland had it to easy through the season and playoffs. They met a good ezell team that shocked them in the 3rd quarter...They have had to live with that butt whipping all yr. They made the weight room their best friend. Will they beat the privates this yr.? Who knows, but I can tell you this, they are good enough too...

greenback had a lot better team than most people give them credit for...For example they was better than anyone cloudland played last yr. in the playoffs other than ezell. Greenback has a better defense than ezell did last yr. If greenback had a bigger line they would be trouble for anyone in the state...Greenback improved so much from last yr. Especially on defense. Hats off guys to a great season. I hope my landers will go all the way so your season will mean that much more....

arhp maryville, and the schools mentioned arent in cloudlands region. I know cloudland could not even begin to hang with maryville. I was just saying in our area which is a weaker 4a division doesnt like to lose to a 1a..I dont even know if cloudland could beat the best 4a in our region. but they could and do beat some of the 4a in our region... As far as 2a goes on a given night 1a is stronger as for playing the hole season then i think 2a is stronger..Boyd could not play every top 2a team and win or they would still be in 2a.....

dont forget boyd, cloudland also beat two 4a schools this yr. and a few 2a schools. But 2a isnt as strong as 1a so you cant use that as a comparison...I mean you take the top 4 in single a they would all beat the top 4 2a teams.....Last yr. championship at murfreesboro, even though cloudland took a beating from ezell, they could have won the 2a division...I think it will be a good game. Yes boyd has played a harder sched. I wish cloudland could have had better opponents because the starters only averaged 2 quarters per game most of the time. They cant get teams to play them. 4a school dont like to get beat by, 1a yet that is the level they are at in our region..Cloudland is for real dont doubt it for a minute...
