No just stating the obvious! Bledsoe has no chance at beating Smith. Smith is the only team around this part that could win the state in 2-A. They will be in the Boro that is for sure. They will beat anyone they have to. They have some unfinished business from last season.

Bledsoe has no idea what they are about to get themselves into!! They will be lucky to lose by only 3 touchdowns. Smith Really should be the #1 from that region but because of some bad breaks lost to Westmoreland. Bledsoe this will be worse than playing Tyner or Boyd!!

I have heard that Whitwell has a assistant coach on staff that is doing a great job and within time they will probably name him as the Head coach after Condra Retires. Is there any truth to that?

Can anyone tell me when the last time was that Tyner lost in the Region? Someone has said that Meigs County beat them about 8 years ago. Is that Correct? Maybe some of you Tyner Fans can tell me?

After watching Sequatchie it was hard to exactly tell who was JV and who was not. They all looked the same!! Boyd did what they needed to do to get ready for their season and after the 1st drive they played their jv as well.

They can't post the schedules because some teams are not going to be able to play. The TSSAA has a rule that a team can only play in one Jamboree and so some teams are committed to their region Jamboree's and therefore will not be able to play in the Velocity's.

Hathaway could be back by the end of September.

The Bucs looked strong on Both sides of the ball and were still missing 17 kids that were in baseball and soccer so the young kids got a lot of work. Hathaway had an MRI and is awaiting the results from that. Boyd used 3 different tailbacks with all of them having some success. The short passing game looked good as did the pursuit on Defense. Continue to keep Anthony in your prayers!!

We are all happy for the new coach and time will tell. Look for the Indians to start building that program and be fighting for that 3rd or 4th playoff spot as usual.

Boyd should be ok in the lines with some transfers and Sophomores who are ready to step up. Coach Akins will have the boys ready. Rest Assured!!

As Long As Boyd and Tyner are in that region everyone else is playing for Third and fourth.

The Bucs start spring practice April the 24th. They will scrimmage Brainerd May the 5th and also have an intersquad game. Hathaway has been cleared and will be participating in Spring Drills.

Coach Paul Simmons went to Searcy Arkansas and will be coaching the front 7 for Harding University. Who was named as the Harding Academy Coach?

Probably is Craddock's Cousin that has lived here for the past year but was not eligible this past year. He will play QB and runs the ball well but is still working on his passing.

You'll Find out quick what Hathaway's name is,and oh by the way Boyd plays as a team and doesn't need 1 player to win ball games. That is evident in what happened last year after the injury to Anthony Hathaway. They went 5-2 in 2A and to the Quarterfinals without Anthony Hathaway.

Boyd Buchanan got 3 kids in the state tournament this year. Patrick Armstrong Region 3 champ at 135. Cody Thomas 3rd at 189 and Jack Sheehan 3rd at 171. This is pretty solid for such a small team.
