  1. RMC Time is hard to judge on TV, but I noticed back points and pins were called much faster than they would be in TN. Do you notice a difference?
  2. No that's Jeff, I'm Sharrock. I don't have an answer for you. I'm working on it. Maybe xbody can weigh in and give us some advice. Yeah Rigger I remember watching your son do that to his arm.
  3. 135 – No.3 Ulric Winesburgh (Sr., Soddy Daisy) pinned No.1 Tanner Withrow (Sr., Bradley Central), :28 … In a battle of Nos. 1 & 3, Winesburgh (44-7) used the same winning move - a hip toss – from the duals (on Withrow) and this time he pinned down at least a tie for the championship for his Trojan teammates … Fastest finals pin in six years … In 2001, Bradley’s Rusty Blackmon stopped Chis Seay (Clarksville) in 22 seconds in 189 pound final … Winesburgh beat a No. 2 (Ryan Konz, Franklin) and a No.1 (Withrow) to win … Had committed to UTC the night of the UTC-VMI match (Feb. 11) and five days later won the state … Withrow (34-6) is a two-time finalist … Soddy led by 18 points, 231 to 213 … and clinched a tie for the title … Clarksville has never had a Chris Seay. Blackmon pinned Mark Chinetti (NW, 11) in 28 sec in 2001.
  4. We have a great camp in Clarksville every year. See the All Results Camp thread. It's run by one of the local ref's here in town.
  5. They are up on www.tssaa.org
  6. Jon Call me please, I need to talk to you. 931-624-1197
  7. It has been done that way for a couple of years except in 2003. Soddy and Bradley always think they get the shaft but it was Clarksville who got shafted by the unseeding of the tournament. CHS and Bradley should have been the final that year. When it comes to the TSSAA who knows what they will do.
  8. When I checked your website I didn't see Clarksville listed. I need to confirm with Coach Peck that Clarksville is indeed coming. We have been getting information on the tournament, I just checked the website to find out more information and saw where Clarksville was not listed. My cell number is 931-624-1197
  9. Chris we are tailgating on the Wrestling mats! So come on over and join us, but I wouldn't eat before you came, you will only see it again!
  10. Chris We will be having a party before the game if you want to join us! You know where to find me, in the center of the circle. Sharrock
  11. Where are there tournaments the 3rd week in Jan? Who hosting one in the east and west?
  12. Move across the state line. Ft. Campbell funds it's sports and coaches very well with Federal money. Last time I looked the single A school had four wrestling mats. But just like our government the pay was rich but six months late with alot of red tape.
  13. People don't pay money for nothing. Private schools offer opportunities that public schools can not. The fact alone that many public schools struggle with money and parental support, you don't see the same in private schools. As far as scholarships and money for need, private schools can seek out great athletes and offer them a chance to sit next to some of the most wealthy kids in the state. Who wouldn't take that chance, poor Johnny can go to school X and become a great champion in a small pond and in the mean time secure a job with his best friends Daddy's company that will change his life and his kids life for ever.
  14. Jackson- You have blown my mind. I have no memory of what you are talking about. I know 30 is getting old and I have a harder time remembering things so please give me more details.
  15. I'll have to take my hat off to Jordan. He showed alot of heart this past weekend wrestling through two season ending injuries for his team. He pinned his way through the duals. The courage he showed is what heros are made of. He will not wrestle again this season
  16. I know the ref in question and feel he is a good one, he would never do anything to harm a kid in anyway. On the otherside my father was sitting at the score's table as an extra per of eyes for the score keepers, he saw the "bite". He saw only top teeth marks and said the kid threw a crossface while the Greenville kid's mouth was open. He did not feel it was a bite.
  17. There is a photo gallery located at www.Theleafchronicle.com I don't think they are for sale.
  18. Great job Kenwood! It just goes to show there is wrestling outside Chattanooga!!
  19. We have tried. The AD is also the head basketball coach.
  20. Guys We will try to do better on the bathrooms, first I've heard of it. I know the past two years we have put one DI match up front and one in the back while we do the same for DII. As far as moving the tournament to APSU no can do, as with everwhere else basketball is king and they want too much money. But keep the sugestions coming we want to make it the best we can.
