How can you hype up McEwen when they lost in the first round of regionals when it was on their home court. It will only be tougher this year, especially when the opposing district will be hosting.

As long as Brandon Wright is at BA and is healthy they will win state. It is simple.

Ezell and CPA will be there. If not both definetely one will.

Well mactownwarrior, What surprise is that? Everyone already knows about Puckett. If you shut him down, McEwen will lose...simple. I think it will be a good matchup inside with Puckett and 6'8" Lackey. Other than that I don't see a surprise.

Yes I as well think Brewer is overrated but I hope he proves me wrong and does well (just not against UT). What about David Harrison from Brentwood Academy. Was taken in the first round of this years NBA draft. Since we are on BA we could prolly go ahead and put Brandon Wright on this list already. If not he will most likely be the best player the state of TN has ever seen. He might already be.

CPA looks good on paper but they had great chemistry last year, which does not always hold over for a year. They also will have to have Sikes guard everyone's big man, which will be a problem when they play Ezell. I think Ezell will win that district with CPA a close second. I believe these 2 teams are way ahead of everyone else in that district and I think both of those teams will be in the state tourney this year.

Ezell will shock everyone this year by winning the district over CPA and making noise in the state tourney.

In single A, Joe Lackey is going to be one of the best centers in the state this year.

gimme3, I said could be. You are right, he is nowhere near the top, and that is because he never worked at Glencliff. He relied on talent to be the #15 rated player in the country, just think if he worked hard and hit the weights.

Honestly Jamont could be the best out of this class. Why, because he relied on all his talent at Glencliff, nothing else. Oak Hill forces him to work hard. He has not even scratched the surface of what he can do. Now if he can only get some grades...

Because I've seen both those teams play and seen the players this summer and I know what they can do. Trust me. I think Ezell may be one of the top teams in the state. I'll call it out right now, I see them in the final four this year. Plus a big man, such as 6'8" Lackey from Ezell is much harder to stop than guards. I'll take a big man in high school over a guard any day. A good center changes the high school game.

I don't think Temple will win. Their lackof depth will eventually hurt them at some point. They will also be hurt if they run into a team with a lot of size. They aren't even the best team in East TN. Pickett Co. is. Plus in middle TN u have 2 strong teams in Ezell and CPA, both only returning all but 1 player each from last years team.

McEwen is a one man team and as long as you stop their big man they have nothing. Also Frey can not match up with Lackey. Maybe Sikes but he gives up a few inches. Frey is terrible. The only reason he did anything last year is because of 6'10" Ryan Daniel. Even last year the posts for Ezell outscored and outrebounded GP posts 2 of 3 games. And he is much stronger than last year. Frey has no chance.

Regardless of skill grades will be the biggest obstacle for Jamont. His grades were terrible at Glencliff. I also heard that Jamont was all talent and had no heart and that he didnt work.

Do you remember 4 or 5 years ago? They were number 3 in the nation. They aren't ranked at all now. They are the biggest bunch of underachievers ever.

It doesn't matter if UT gets them or not. UT should be looking for a new coach if they want to go anywhere in March.

Ezell-Harding will make a lot of noise this year. They only lost one player from last years team and have 6'8" Joe Lackey who is one of the best players in class A. They also have talented guard Aaron Duke who can flat out shoot the ball. Josh Pitto runs the offense at the point guard and Chris Blackburn will enforce anyone who gets out of line and provides valuable leadership. And Coach Piercey and Freud are 2 great coaches.

Joe Lackey 6'8" Sr. from Ezell Harding. Will be very hard to stop.
