anyone know of a team that is still looking for a 16u? or are there any 17u teams needing a player?? I know of a 16 year old junior who wants to play and of a 17 year old junior...

KEYWORD: BACK I don't know if it is true, but to play their SENIOR year in their HOMETOWN would be something I would want to do.

I agree w/ eagletime 100%, there are better players around the state than sacred BA. Yeah they won the Champ- but there are plenty of players that are better than any 5 of BA's but they might not have the extra talent to work with like BA does... probably because ... well, nevermind- BA is good, but there are MUCH better players out in the state other than the "freshman" Wright etc.

I agree with you- I think he is an awesome kid and a fantastic basketball player, he came through for his team many times. I haven't seen him on the diamond so I can't give my view there. Schools are definately missing out on you Jason! Good Luck!

Christina Fidler from Franklin High School. I know the players appreciated her, the thanked her all the time but the coaches were horrible to her the entire season, never content with her work. She put in over 50 hours a week during football season and she only gets paid for 20 hours a week. I'm sure there are plenty of trainers around who put in that much work, but I hope the coaches don't try to take over your area of the team or question your authority when someone has a severe neck sprain and the coach tells the kid that he's fine and if he is a man he can continue to practice. Her job is to take care of the players and even when she tries, she gets stepped on and I hope no one else has had to go through what she had to. I'm a student trainer for her and she loves her job but the football coaches need to appreciate her and understand what she is there for. Thanks Christina! PG23fhsWR1

Wow- what a great idea, I am a student trainer for the Franklin High School Football team and we didn't get much credit from the coaches, the players were pretty good at thanking us though. Christina Fidler from Star Therapy is the best! Great idea to put out recognition! PG23FHSWR1

On Gomab's Top 100 Seniors, Did I just skim over Jason Harrison's name from Hillwood? Or is he not on there. It could possibly be that he isn't a senior, but my boyfriend is a friend of his so I'm pretty sure he is. If he is just left off the list, I think some deeper thought needs to go into the list because Jason is great and led the mid-state in ppg. Anyone have the answer?

Where is this taking place? I know the hudson gals and a few others on the team and since my team has been out since 1st round, I'd like to go check out other former teammates- but I can't find where it is being held- Anyone know?? PG23FHSWR1

i think every team in the state and country has done that. Brentwood and Franklin have done it for a long time- so Friendship didn't "come up with that" on their own. It's all out of fun- get over it

Does anyone know the schedule for the D2 Substates being held at David Lipscomb? Are the DL boys still in it? When does Father Ryan girls play? I can't find the schedules anywhere. From what I understand, they don't start playing until Friday/Saturday- Anyone know?? thanks, PG23FHSWR1

Father Ryan controlled the entire game. HH tried to make a little run cutting the lead to 7 or 9, but with Nancy having an extremely off shooting night and the stellar defence by the Irish controlling Sarah Baker, it made the run difficult to continue! GOOD LUCK LADY IRISH! I'll make sure I'll be at DL cheering you on wearing Irish Apparel

It seems to me that during the time of tournament, rivalries get twice as bad. Which is 100% understandable. But what should also be enforced is good sportsmanship when players put their hearts out for the game that everyone is there to watch. Lesson to all fans- when an all-tournament player gets called out from a rival team, clap in congratulations instead of booing in low class. This happend at Hillsboro High School in the 11-AAA semi-finals when they announced a Franklin High all-tournament team member. A team who will remain nameless booed her as she walked out. Shows that money doesn't teach class. Please be respectful to all players, no matter what team. Okay?
