Who will win this one? I think Bledsoe will win. They gave up a win in a poor performance at Bledsoe. I think they will be ready to return the favor.

I heard that Kayla Gruber quit playing...said she just wanted to take a break. Has anyone heard anything about her?

Kayla Gruber has to be one of the best freshmen around. Early in the season she went down with an ACL injury. She has been out all season. She was averaging 8-10 points at least. She is about 5'9" and plays the 1 and 2 spot equally. She is a great shooter. She would have helped Bledsoe out tremendously. Kelly Warden is also another outside threat. She started a couple of games this year and came in off the bench to do great. Bonnie Brooks has also improved greatly; she got quite a bit of playing time after she did so well in the Christmas tourney the Bledsoe attended in Madison GA. She will be a great post player.

Alyson is a good player. Last years point guard graduated and she has taken her place nicely. Some D1 schools are already looking at her. During the region tourney I saw her play 2 completely games though. Against Bledsoe County she scored and went to the goal, but the next night against McMinn she played timid and scared; but don't get me wrong she is an excellent player and still has 2 years to improve.

Sadly Bledsoe and Tyner both fell in the semi's. However, they did make thier presence known. Each team played hard and never quit making late rally's causing the other team's sweat. Bledsoe was up by 10 at one point and Tyner came back after being down by 20. I would have loved to have seen another Tyner Bledsoe rematch:( Anyway, congrats to the winning teams. I think WV will bring home 1st!!!

All tournament is not just about scoring points. You should think about a player's all around game before you speak of what should have been.

Cara Smith and her fellow seniors have had this goal for four years now. They are the first team from Bledsoe to win a regional first round game in over 20 years!!! Way to go Lady Warriors!!!

What makes any of you so sure the two teams will meet again this season??? It's tournament time and crazy things happen.

Last night there was a big upset in district 6AA. 7th seeded Bledsoe suprised a few people with a win over 2nd East Ridge. I knew they had it in them!! Its about time a valley team steps up!!! The district Chattanooga teams are over-rated. I expect to see a few more upsets in this week's tournament!!

Congrats to the Lady Warriors!!! They were down by 9 with 1:50. This shows their true heart. They never gave up. The Lady Rams thought that they had it in the bag. How Bledose would have acted isn't a factor, because they didn't lose. But when they did lose to Tyner earlier in the season, they weren't on here making excuses by blaming the refs! They know that it is up to them, not the refs. Tonight the Lady Warrior play at CSAS and Tyner plays Howard at home, so the district isn't definate.

This game will definately be a good one. It will be Bledsoe's senior night and Coach Tarver's birthday, so they should have a little extra "drive" in them. With all distractions aside, Bledsoe girls are focused souly on Thursday's game. Good Luck Lady Warriors!!!!

Yes, there really are computers in Bledsoe County - - the game was postponed due to flooding. However, the Tyner Rams did lose to the Grundy County Lady Jackets last night. Congrats Grundy!!!!! Next Thursday's game will be a good one, I but predict Bledsoe to come out on top. Just for your information Tyner, the other side of the district is a lot tougher than what you're sed to. Walker Valley and McMinn Central are no Chattanooga Central, Hixson, or Richard Hardy, so you better be preparing for some actual competition!!!!

I think that the Red Bank girls will win it. But it will depend on which team shows up ready to play. I saw Soddy bring two different games to Grundy this past weekend. They lost to Bledsoe by about 30 then beat Grundy the next night in overtime. Good Luck to Red Bank and to Kristy!!!

I think that Bledsoe has the best Freshmen, hands down. Kayla Gruber and Kelly Warden play together better than most anyone I've ever saw. They're very good at running the fast break together. Bonnie Brooks will also see playing time at the post, and is a strong rebounder.

She got to play for about 10 seconds and she got hurt. She got elbowed in the mouth and knocked her tooth loose.

Howard beat Bledsoe by 4 points. Bledsoe was up by 4 with a minute to go and the refs made some questionable calls. It was a close game and Bledsoe showed that they can keep up with Howard. The Bledsoe girls beat Howards girls by 10. 66-56. A freshman came into the game after Cara Smith went out with a injury. Kelly Warden came into the game and took it over. She finished the game with 20 points.

Everyone keeps talking about how good sequatchie is going to be, they haven't even played the first game yet. If poeple want to talk about how good their going to be they should let their record do the talking and not everyone else.
