BB You are a good coach who deserves to be treated fairly. They should let you do your job and realize that you dont have the best of athletes. I am sure that if u are relieved of ur post that there will be plenty of places that would love to have you. And yes they do have an obilgation to be truthfully with you. But I would not expect them to that. Just ask Coach Pickett and Coach Brewer about how much you can count on their truthfulness.

Oakdale is getting a quality coach in Willie Childers. But more importantly they are getting a solid Christian role model on and off the field. It was my privilege to coach this young man in high school , and my honor to work beside him in the classroom when he began his career. Oakdale is indeed fortunate in having Coach Childers lead their team. I only wish my boys could have the luck to play for such a man. Guess I will just be happy they will see him at camp. One last item, both Willie and Oakdale are really getting a blessing in the soon to be Mrs. Coach Willie Childers.

If they are smart they will take a long look at Coach Greg Brewer from Marion County. He is a former head caoch that will bring a solid defense, great disclipline and a ton of energy to that program. He was a finalist for the head coaching job at Coffee County.

Colquette's crew will go as far as Justin Bryant will take them. If he stays healthy, they can win 8 easy with their cupcake schedule. If he gets injured, then it will be alot tougher. I am very interested to see the job Mr. Colquette can do after the 2003 season or will he consider retirement before he has to play that hand the following season.

As for you 12timechump, Are you REALLY a hornet supporter or just another naysayer of a fine man like Coach Ray ? He works hard with these girls and has the respect of the people that work with him on a daily basis. He gives the girls the character that will make them successful both on and off the court. I am sure that the asst coach from unicoi county is a fine person but we have the coach we need at Huntland there already. One night's performance is poor basis for analysis. Look at the his overall record. Look at the character of the kids he produced then see if we arent getting a bargain in him.

Huntland Softball team will be tough this year and look for them to win 20 and go deep in the playoffs Coach Reggie Campbell will have the troops working hard

While i am sure that 1 victory is not a pleasurable season; BB can coach. He has a group of nice kids but nice kids dont win games. Other than the Bryant kid they just dont have the mules to compete with Hixson, East Ridge, Howard and CSAS. Maybe if it were like the good ole days when you had 4 valley teams in the district things might be different. Plus it would help to have a real AD that is concerned about all the sports programs!!! I am sure that if BB job is in trouble at Grundy that there will be plenty of places that would love to have use of his services. Maybe that way you could get a Basketball coach that also coached football too huh?

I do know that Coach King is a firm but fair coach and i cant believe the wacko fans at Coffee are complaining but about him making kids quit. Most parents there are convinced their kid is a D1 prospect. Just go to the little league park there and watching the seeds being planted. Good luck Coach King !!! I know you will do a great job with the Rebels.

Must be another bumper crop of recruits over at CPA if they are biting off some of the Warriors. Coach Fulmer could use the tips on recruiting if you have the time

I am sure that Eagleville got valuable experience in their JV games last year but there is a huge leap between JV and Varsity ball. So Eagleville better get use to the ole saying " If you aint the lead the dog, the scenery doesnt change" because you are definitely going to be down wind for a few seasons.

Huntland Junior to be Lyle Corder really had a solid 2002 season and looks like he could a real force for the Hornets defense the next 2 years.

Huntland started slow again against Moore County and put themselves in a tough hole to dig out of in the 1st quarter. Looking forward to the tourney as these two will meet again. Abi Fanning is a excellent player and floor leader and they play hard. Hornets stayed with them after a sluggish start so next time ladies lets get after it quicker. Go Lady Hornets !!!

Congrats to the Huntland Boys for their victory over county rival AAA Franklin County. The guys have worked hard all year and maybe things are starting to turn around for the Hornets. Great Job Coach Rusty Ray and Coach Rob for pinch hitting in the game. Get well to Coach Shockley and this win is for you as well. GO HORNETS !!!!!

I hope he finds a job soon. I know he will do a good job for someone. I just thought maybe the great Colquette might give a local guy a fair shot.But I guess that would be out of character.
