No offense, but i hope AE gets run out of the gym. I watched their opening round game and I thought they acted very unsportsmanlike. I did not think they showed their coach any respect either. Ex. Coach had to tell the same player over and over in the huddle to slide over about 3 seats so she could hear him. She would slide over and never turn his way. Disrespectful, and also a technical and intentional foul in their game. I understand if it is coincidence but it doesn't seem likely. Just an opinion and I am sure they have many girls very deserving, but it sometimes get overshadowed by the few. Good luck to both.

It is going to be tough. They are about the only good team out of that region. Clarkrange has a cakewalk against Boyd Buchanon and Chattanooga Christian will win by 15. Just a guess.

I agree and well stated. I think sometimes the officials call the games according to who is better (ability, record, tradition, etc.). I also feel the game is called by the scoreboard. Many times a foul is not called at the beginning of the game when the score may be close. But later, the team that is far ahead may get whistled for a handcheck or not shoot freethrows when they have been mugged. I understand some of this. But, officials job is to officiate the game for 32 minutes no matter the score. Not bitter about anything, just stating my opinion.

Barring a complete off night for the Lady Bears, they are crowned Region Champs. But, Bud and Campbell with pull out all stops and the cowboy boots will be in full effect tonight. I'll say MJ by 5.

If she sit out 12 months then she would be eligible. If I am not mistaken, Blackman was beaten in the first round of the region last year. Hope this helps.

Congratulations coaches and players on your ranking. You guys have earned it. It is nice to see year in and year out at least 1 tennessee team competing for a national championship. It continues to show why tn. has the best girls basketball in the country. Good luck the rest of the way b/c you always need it to win any championship no matter how good you are.

I agree dilligaf, if Watertown had gotten off the bus the other night, clay would have been at the house. Just one correction clay only scored 15. Westmoreland pulls it out with about 3minutes to go and forces clay to play man and I don't think they are a good man "d" team. Wesmoreland by 10 b/c they make freethrows down the stretch.

I will keep the Biddle family in my prayers. She was a very good player for MJ and Cumberland. I wish her family all the best. It really puts things into perspective as we use sports as a way of life. Life is a precious thing and I hope that everyone will be extra careful while behind the wheel of a car.
