  5. There are very few really good shortstops in this state and she is definitely one of them.
  6. Unless Goodpasture has John Coffee from "The Green Mile" on the payroll, she's done for the season and probably most of the summer.
  7. I know what STD stands for, but I shouldn't say it on here because of the kids.

    BA Game Today

    OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
  10. If she's a senior, isn't it a little late to start thinking about summer ball exposure. I would think most, if not all scholarships would be gone by then. Correct me if I'm wrong. I wish her the best of luck.
  11. I think y'all are being a little too hard on a girl for having one bad game. A pitcher sould be judged on the season not just one game. For example, I remember watching Jennifer Wright during her junior or sophmore year get absolutely lit up by Davidson Academy. They scored 11 runs on her with a couple of dingers. She would have been run ruled had Ezell not scored some thenselves. Nobody said, "OK she's done, she's no good", they just said sh had a bad day, which was true. I think she probably had the best record in the state and was named player of the year. I watched Ezell scorch Rachel Hawkins for 10 runs and a run rule. I've seen Meagan Rhodes get 5 or 6 runs scored on her, but it doesn't take away from how great a pitcher she is. All I'm saying is everyone is gonna have a bad outing once in a while so don't come down on them so hard for one bad game. JMO
  12. None of that will happen because it's gonna rain.
  13. People from Chattanooga arguing about home cooking, now that is funny. Chattanooga is the home cooking capitol of the world.
  14. Ezellsoftball04, you are right, and I ranked those teams before any games were played. Also, I didn't know that Beech added three new quality players to their team this year. Here is how I would rank them today. 1. Beeh 2. Soddy Daisey 3. Goodpasture 4. Brentwood 5. Hume Fogg
  15. Sofine, you haven't been around fastpitch very long if you haven't seen kids with shoulder problems. There was a study done during the 96 Olympics that concluded that the distraction forces on a windmill pitcher's shoulder joint are equal to and even greater than overhand throwing.
  16. Hey footballfanatic, you got me on that one. That's a point for you. However, since you made the excuse that Beech beat you the first time because your #1 wasn't pitching, now I'll make the same excuse for Beech since their #1 wasn't pitching.
  17. No offense but didn't Beech already put a spankin' on Coffee Co.?
  18. Sorry Jarfly Dugger supporters, I've been out of town. Look, I would love to meet Jarfly, but it's still not gonna change my opinion that he has never thrown a softball over 100 mph. Think about this; a baseball weighs 5 oz. and a softball weighs 6 1/4 oz. So unless I'm the most stupid person to ever walk the earth, a softball is an ounce and a quarter heavier than a baseball. The circumference of a baseball is very small when compared to a softball which makes the baseball easier to dominate with the fingers. You with me so far? OK, Nolan Ryan arguably had the best throwing arm anyone has ever seen. He could throw a baseball over 100 only on his best days. And you are asking me to believe that Jarfly or anyone else for that matter could throw a bigger, heavier ball faster underhanded than Nolan Ryan could throw a smaller, lighter ball overhanded (not even mentioning the fact that Nolan Ryan had the leverage of throwing downhill off a mound), well I guess I did mention it. But anyways, I'm sure Jarfly is a great person and pitcher just like you say, but I'm sorry, he did not throw a softball over 100 mph underhanded or overhanded or side armed or any othr way you can think of. Sorry, but it didn't happen.
  19. She must be Jarfly Dugger's daughter.
  20. OK, we've gone from 100 to 90, and now we have taken a big jump down to 70 mph. Just a couple more posts and he'll be throwin' in the mid fifties.
