First of all, I want to apolgize and say I am sorry to all the people whose "feathers I ruffled." I am sorry and I will try not to do it. What I said is not how I thought it would come across and I ask that you forgive my igornce in that. I try my best not to get people mad but sometimes I don't even mean to and I do. Just ask some of my friends. Second, I have ask myself and several other people where our fans and cheerleaders were. It made Roan Mtn. look really bad in my opinion. Our community usually has more support then that. It sure felt like there was only 3 there. Fianlly, I think Abby is a great ballplayer and will have a great future. I did not say Abby is bad. All I said was that I was not THAT impressed with that being the key word. I have to say I was impressed but really did not understand what all the hype was about. Yes, it was just one game but the game I saw was a big game. Alot can be said about how a person plays in 1 big game. They have to be at their top in that game to win it. As for her faking our player, I am not sure but she tried it several times and Tara(#24) and Nikki (#12) stuck right with her. I guess those times Tara was showing that she was tired because she had been out there the entire half and almost all of the first half so...... The lack of support at the game surprised me. I thought there would be alot more people there. I believe Roan Mountain was represented as a community that don't care about the school which I know and the rest of you know is not true. Seems that football gets all the attention in our community. I think it is ashame that the cheerleaders were not there no matter the reason. The ones that were not there and had a chance should have been there to support the team. I understand ones who have to work but they closed down the schools so where was the teachers :confused: . I hope we can improve on our support before next year. I am sorry to say but I was also not that impressed. Is my standards to high or did she just have a bad game. Yes, I am a Cloudland fan but don't think I am saying this because we lost.Her speed and leadership will be a key factor for a college team. She has a great future and I wish her and the rest of the Moore County team the best of luck.

I think Birchfield is the one of the best in east tennessee. He has his players respect and they enjoy playing basketball for him. Most of Anderson's teams did not enjoy playing for him. I think overall Birchfield would beat Anderson hands down

I think they are just starting off slow. Harvick is sitting in 7th in points which is great considering the run he had yesterday. Things will look up as long as they stay out of trouble. They will be contenders at the end if they stay out of trouble which is harder said then done

23choc you might want to check your informtion. Cloudland played Cosby at Cosby and lost by 4 or 5 with 4 of the 5 starters sick and sitting out most of the 4th. It may have been a different story if Cloudland was healthy. I think Moore County- Cloudland will be a great game.

I am not trying to make no one look bad and I know you seniors have worked your tails off to get to where you are at. If I wanted to make you look bad I could have post some lie or something so that is not it. If it was her, she expressed doubt and that should have made you to work harder not get mad at her to the point to cuss her out. You proved her wrong and that should have been enough satisfaction. No I am not on your team but I have friends on the Varisty and JV so I have heard the story told. Who told you who it was anyway or who they thought it was? No matter what I am proud of the girls team has done and will be there tonight to cheer them on. Good luck and hope to see you go to the 'Boro. After the game on Thursday night, they jumped on a junior player for 30 minutes saying that she was a disgrace to the team and does not belong with the team. It was very hurtful to her that they would say things like that. The team was mad at this team member because of comments supposedly made on Coacht.com by the screenname lillander. What they do not know is if they got the real person or not. The person in question email is at Hotmail and lillander's is at yahoo so there is one of the many differences. There are some likiness but I think they should not have jumped on her without a lot of evidence. I think no matter what the team should apolgize to her because they acted in a very immature manner and said stuff that would have probably made a sailor blush. This is true because several players have told me about it. It was all on a very bad hunch and it went wrong!!! I do not think the player will be there tonight due to a church trip. Any one who wants to know who it was that was jumped on or the people who did the jumping email me at landergolfer@coacht.com. Or if any of the ball players have a differnet story send it to me. The game starts at 7. I think the Landers control their destiny at this point. I think Oneida will have their work cut out for them. It also depends if Cloudland can get over jumping all over a teammate for no reason at all even though they THOUGHT they had one. Wow what a match up. This will be interesting and it is to close to call from where i am sitting. It depends on which two teams choose to show up. Also what is the deal with the lady Landers and newspapers. I missed both games so I do not know what went on. Like I said this will get interesting.

I agree with the top team but I am not sure about Unaka being 2nd. They are a good team but I think Hancock County is better. I think Unaka-Hancock County be an interesting game if the two could play each other. I also agree with the rest of the list but upsets can happen so it will be fun to watch.
