Its gonna be a packed house for sure. I wish we had better visitors seating though, it always leaves a black eye on our part everytime there's a big crowd. I have a good idea for stands on that side, but nobody seems to care. J fred is an icon to me like Wrigley is to the Cubs or Fenway to Boston..or even the Castle in Bristol ..its old school with a lot of history. Im just afraid if the wrong people get their way, it will be swept under the rug and forgotten like Yankee stadium ended up, and become just another metal bleacher high school stadium...but I agree the atmosphere is gonna be awesome.Lots of people from other schools coming to see us go at it..cant wait.

A quickie note to SH fans thats not been to a game at J Fred in a few yrs, park across the street in the grass, the Civic auditorium or even at Food City and walk a little...it beats parking in the morionic school parking lot and driving in circles for an hour.

My one and only post on this subject. We have a good team, and I hope to see us meet, with both teams at full strength...both undefeated,... if we dont trip over one of the playoff games first. I know the atmosphere will be awesome, and think it will be an honor to butt heads with the best with our best. I hope we will still be on this thread in a few weeks.

Please send prayers for Dobyns Bennett quarterback Chris Cook. He was injured in last nights game, scoring a touchdown, and was flipped, landing on his head.. he will require surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck.

I guess i can chime in since this whole South-D-B thread is boring. Best pure running back I've ever seen wearing maroon and grey hands down Adonis Johnson, best fullback B J Clendenin, best arm- Duran Ferguson, linebacker gotta agree with Waco on this one ..that Nottingham guy was fun to watch.I will have to say meanest stiff arm and raw talent(wasted) Lamon Williams, Best Coach- Graham Clark... we might not win the big one, but we dont have to take any crap from anyone around here. My guess on the score, D-B 38 South 14. South still has some pride, and D-B still doesnt have the killer attitude the need to have for October.
