Hey Josh-- I was talking about the distance from the 3 point line to the half court line. Maybe it just looks shorter.

I can't remember who was guarding me. Was it the left handed kid? Yeah the shots may have been a little long, but that court is really short. I didn't notice how small it was last year, but it's not very long. I'm not saying the gym wasn't nice, I was just surprised at the length of the floor. I'm surprised JC doesn't have a brand new gym, since they've won state the last 4 years and all.

Don't know the stats, but I didn't think the three's they hit were "wild". They didn't shoot them from half cout or anything, and they didn't just throw them up in between 2 people and they went in.

I'm not #14. That was my number in elementary school. I don't even play basketball for York. I just like to watch the games.

York Institute.....it's on the Upper Eastern part of the Cumberland Plateau. Located in Jamestown, in Fentress County.

Wildcat9044 you are 100% correct! LA is AWESOME! What are they right now anyway....something like 10-13? Great job.....losing more games than you win. As for Ledbetter, we'll see if anybody from LA goes to a bigger college. Good job beating York Institute by 7 and Upperman by 11, but both are better than you and York has already beat you this season. Whichever plays you in the tournament will kick your butt. You lost to DeKalb by 4, York beat them by 20 and Upperman beat them by 7. Oh yeah.....York has won the last 2 district tournaments, when you bring home the trophy then you can talk some smack. Until then, I'd shut up. Good luck against Pickett County, I'm sure you'll need it. Show some class please.....I'm sure most Livingston fans would be eMBArrassed.

I really don't know if I should say thank you or take offense to that comment....I probably am on here a little too much though, but I can't stand it when people talk about the team. Oh well.....Lol what do you mean by 1 handed 3 point shot? Coach Winningham knows what he's doing.....go York.

Livingston is playing MUCH better beating both Upperman and York Institute in the same week, I'm gonna go against my better judgement here and say LA pulls the upset.

Actually, Insell called the twins yesterday. That's where they are moving, sorry DF. I guess you'll have to give that house to somebody else......just kidding, but it would be pretty funny if it happened.

The Dragons haven't had the season that some thought they would, but neither have most teams in district 7AA. The fact is, the district is just more balanced than it usually is. This team always comes up big in the tournament, they've won the district tournament the past 2 years. Right now they may be 4-3 but look for that to change this next week. By this time next week it's possible for them to be 7-3. Anyway, they don't give out trophies for regular season wins anyway, just wait until the tournament and see who comes out on top.

I really don't care who won this game and I've only seen Cait play one time, but I'm friends with a bunch of girls who've played on the same AAU team as her. Yes, I've heard them say she is cocky.....but she's awesome, so she can be a little cocky. Maybe it's just part of her game. Personally, I like seeing players who know they are the best and let everybody else know it too. SC needs to get over it, no you're not one of the best teams in the nation. Take your medicine and stop picking on sophomores. CAIT WILL YOU MARRY ME?

Livingston did play well. They shot very well. I'd like to know what the shooting percentage was for the team last night, they didn't miss any shots at all.

Yes, a shot clock should be added to high school basketball. I don't see this happening anytime soon though, as most people are scared of change.

The district is wide open. Upperman and York are favorites no more. York always gels when the tournament comes around though, they are my pick to win district tournament.

Sleeper and Chumney can't do it all. I heard that sleeper was transfering to Jackson County to play with the Ross twins. Is this true? Anyway, Upperman by 10.

Upperman will be hungry comming off a loss to Livingston Academy, Smith County is playing well right now (they did beat York Institute by 2) but I think Upperman will take this one. Upperman by 15+......

I think they are leaning towards Jackson County, but maybe Livingston or Clarkrange. I love these girls to death,they are just in a mixed up situation, I sure wish they could have stayed at York, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
