I agree this was the worst I have ever seen. It is amazing the inconsistency that they called the game with. They let players get away with hammering each other at times, and touch fouls appeared to be anticipated at times. Tyler Hood was absolutely not allowed to play in the game, which was sad to see if you are a fan of fundamental basketball. He was hammered, tackled and bear hugged the entire game, and when the officials decided to call it, they called a double foul. Another great play was when an Oak Ridge player had a fast break lay up, and got mugged as he shot his layup. He was awarded a 1 and 1 free throw opportunity. I give kudos to both coaches for not going "Bobby Knight" on the crew. I have to give credit to Oak Ridge for making some big shots, but I would like to see that matchup again when the best player in the region is allowed to participate.

For what it's worth Mike Sims was wrongly ejected from the basketball game you are discussing. I am not particularly a fan of his but a friend of mine was the one who made the comment while standing next to Mr. Sims, the official turned and wrongly had Sims ejected. As for the bird flipping fan, that is completely inexcusable and should not be tolerated. As for the current game and not a basketball game that was in the 2003-2004 school year I believe it will get ugly one way or the other. If Loudon takes the lead early by more than a touchdown LC could fold, but I expect the offensive line of LC to be too much for the over powered Redskins. Hightower goes over 175 in this one. Also a big game for Hawkins, especially if he can reach the corner which he has the speed to do, but Loudons line is so little he may be getting hit by the big boys for LC before he gets started. LC by atleast 14.

This is hilarious. To think someone would get so bent out of shape over a monkey. Perhaps it goes back to not being a good enough player to see playing time at LC as a freshman so attending Loudon instead where good favors equal good playing time. However, I must say the monkey's sibling who plays for Loudon has developed into a good H.S. ball player, it's sad so much drama has to surround him. I understand he was quite classy following the victory on Tuesday night. Thats how the rivalry should be, heated, but classy. As for the two schools no longer playing after this school year. It's simply a shame. Besides the fun of the games, what a profit loss!

Well I can't say to much about this years selections, but it dones't hold much value. The players selected in the past have been an absolute joke. See last years selections.

Redskin 71, Your lack of intelligence really baffles me, well, actually it doesn't, after all, you obviously attend the FINE ACADEMIC INSTITUTION that is Loudon HIGH SCHOOL. Putting that aside, your comments are absolutely obsured. First of all, the recent(notice the correct spelling) success in baseball is not to good? All LC did last year was win the DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP, not that big of a deal huh? (By the way, LC ended Loudon's season.) Maybe you should rethink that one but don’t strain your brain. Second, if 3rd place is so bad, you guys should have worked harder in practice or something becuase yep, you guessed it, you finished 4th. (For Loudon folks that comes AFTER 3rd.) As for earlier in the year, you stand correct by saying that you defeated us twice. It's to bad the objective of the regular season is to prepare yourself for Districts to be the best team you can be. You may have started out stronger but LC soon settled the fact of who had the better team by years end. Thirdly, if you want to talk about girls basketball, their is a forum on COACHT specifically for that, so tell someone who cares and quit wasting other people’s time writing about your girls team when they obviously must be interested in Boy’s basketball. Last, is it still football season? Didn’t think so, please quit talking about something that took place over 3 months ago. BUT, If you wanna live in the past, I believe the banner has been at LC 3 of the past 4 years. It seems hard for me to believe that Loudon can be considered its home. Sportsfan 98, Yes, there is an explanation for this score. The panthers currently have five players suffering from the flu, 3 of which are starters and the other their 6th man. Lombardo, Cusick, and Eric Miller tried to play but were unable while Brad Miller didn't make the trip. This may not have cost them the game but considering they lost to Fulton @ LC by 2, it just might have had something to do with it. Also, the coach rested their other contributors, plus the fact Fulton played their top players for 3 entire quarters on senior night. For your information LC will be AA next year. They will go AAA in the 05'-06' season. What is your affiliation with LC? You seem to constantly bash them about one thing and another. If all you have time to do is bad mouth these kids then you need to find something else to pass your time. That's very classless to constantly downgrade those young men who are a great bunch of kids.
