At least they didnt throw out a kid for an inadvertent trip like they did to Randolph of Monterey. Unbelievable call in such a high-stakes game. It occurred in the first 6 minutes of the game and doomed Monterey from the beginning. That ref should never call a game again.

My son doesn't play basketball, but if he did, and being an 8th grader with the resources to take him anywhere, I would drive him up the mountain to play for Coach West and his brother. You never see him belittle any of his players, very respectful to the referees, and just an upstanding human being. Good things happen for those who do it the right way.... Regional Champs!!

If I could pick one, my son would play for him over anyone in the Upper Cumberland. Very Calm, humble, doesnt embarrass himself or degrade the kids. His kids play with more heart, without the athleticism or ability.

No way they'll hire a Clarkrange alum for MHS, but maybe it'll be payback from Clarkrange for MHS giving them an undefeated season and State Championship.

And I might add, helped them go undefeated and win a State Title her Junior year. They NEVER would've done it without her. So DD you just need to stop about Transfers and such, you all have gotten more than your share over the years. GO WILDCATS!

What has LA done Goldencloud and oldkodger? They beat a depleted Smith Co without the District MVP due to an injury in 2nd Quarter and then beat York, who is in the Cellar in 8AA. I don't see how you think you've "woke them up." The real test will be the next two games.

Gordonsville will be hungry after their loss, but what a game of tremendous proportions in the region race from first to fifth still up for grabs.

if your #1 seed, you can lose in the district semifinals, lose the consolation game and go to the region as the #4 seed, you can then lose in the region finals and then go all the way. I dont like it either, but thats the way it goes!!!!!!
