  1. Look a here, now we are resorting to name calling. Yall can keep complaining about who should have gotten what or you can move on and be ready for the next game on the scheldule. Everybody should know by now that McEwen is not a one man team.
  2. Well congrats you got a pack. Maybe next game yall have, yall can get a pack and a rebound, who knows maybe a win. You can down talk Puckett all you want, I dont think anybody cares. If thats you way to deal with a loss, then hey go for it.
  3. First NCS fans make posts about the NCS freshmen possibly being the best in A. No one agreed so now they single it down to 10A, whats next a thread saying how NCS has the best freshmen in Bellevue, or how bout the best on Sawyer Brown Road. Why not support your team now? You are basically saying they are not any good right now. Great way to get behind your team and support them(unless you are one of them, then thats sad).
  4. It did say thirteen the other day but now it says fourteen. "yea i guess its a lack of respect huh when mcewen controls their own ranking" What are you talking about?
  5. I hate to burst your bubble and Jarrett's ego but no one in McEwen really gives a darn about Jarrett. No one is talking about the pathetic Jarrett, oh, I mean pathetically talking about Jarrett. That got bigger things to talk about like an undefeated season and possibly a second district title in 3 years and a heck of a good chance at a regional title and then some. So no one cares about a has been that could only muster one big win against McEwen in his high school career. With so many young people starting already for NCS, they for surely have a bright future.
  6. If you are serious then that's sad.
  7. You do sign up to play ball, but you don't risk anything when the roads are dangerous. What's more important a little game or someone's health?
  8. Correct me if I am wrong, but unless Santa Fe wants to play there girls team then the counties surrounding Maury Co, yes even those North, need to be safe to travel. Anyways, the post above says there is some ice in Santa Fe hopefully there isn't much and hopefully there isn't ice on the roads that Ezell, McEwen, and Lewis Co. have to travel. Since it warmed up over freezing for a while today, and also will tomorrow, maybe ALL of it will go away.
  9. Not all the ice is gone, in the areas to the north of Santa Fe still have some ice on some roads, like in the Cheatam and Dickson Co area. Just because you can't see the ice from the computer screen you are glued to doesn't mean its all gone. That a side, I am glad to hear the games are on and I am looking forward to watching some good ball. It will feel good to be back at the Fe again.
  10. Anybody body know if the games are still on? Are their any cancellations or postponements due to all of this crappy ice?
  11. No one can say McEwen is one dimensional and is a one man team. They have already had 3 different players have 20+ point games. They are playing well and are looking like they will have a great season. The reffing is always bad for a Middle Tenn team when they cross the river, its almost expected. Also I believe the big Green Wave had a Double Double tonight.
  12. Twice in two years from what I've heard you say in previous posts about NCS vs Ezell And who can controll what district your school plays in. The new school White House Heritage was placed in 10a which gave 10a 8 schools in it while 9a only has 6. If it was put in 9a then each district would have 7 schools, which to me would make sense. Also White House Heritage is closer to the 9a schools, except for Jo Byrns and east. But wait to see how dominant the 9a private district will be in AA
  13. So they don't run a "stall" they just run a very slow offense that takes a lot of time of the clock. And as for not knowing what I'm talking about I guess no one else does either as everyone else besides the FRA people said that CPA beat them at their own game. But I am done stating what I KNOW and I am finished arguing to let you all cool your heads. Great pics! I am also glad you got pics of the CPA fans in some funky out fits.
  14. It was a very good game, could have been a whole quarter better but the strategy worked for CPA
  15. I believe everyone in the country knows freedom of speech, and thanxs ncballer33 for the back up on the humor part.
  16. If you don't want a team to stall the game away then don't be behind and play good D.
  17. I believe I was talking about the CPA fans who you couldn't have missed, especially the two dressed in retro. And by the way the assistant coach for CPA was even laughing when they went back into the stall and the crowd cheered. "Idiotic post"...whatever you like to believe, divepix ask for a score and recap so I gave him what I saw and what I enjoyed about the game(as did all the CPA fans). Next time I will know though that the amendments of the constitution don't apply to these threads.
  18. CPA won by arond 5 I think. Being a neutral observer of this game I thought it was completely genious of the CPA coach to stall the WHOLE 3rd quarter after a quick score by FRA to cut it to one(CPA by one at this point). With the arrow facing CPA's direction they literally just had Ferrell stand at midcourt holding the ball until 4 minutes left when CPA called a time out. The CPA fans loving the stall as it is usually FRA's style of game gave a huge up roar of cheering(probaly loudest of the game) when CPA threw the ball back in and continued to stall with Ferrell still just inside halfcourt. I thought it was absolutley hilarious. They waited till 10 secs left to run a kick out for a 3 which missed and FRA outscored CPA in the third 2 to 0. CPA didnt stal the 4th and FRA even had a 1 point lead for a little while but CPA didnt let them stall with their full court press and got some steals and pulled away with free throws. Too bad I paid for 4 quarters of Bball and only got 3 but it was still a great game.
  19. Sure Ok...And in that case Puckett(who did the same thing the 1st meeting of these two great rivalries), no it began before then, McEwen has their 2nd home court at NCS because they havent lost there in a LOOONNGG time.
  20. Join the club. A 27 is great, not sure if that is a requirement for ESPN though.
  21. Hopefully I can find some where closer to park at tomorrow. Too bad they didn't play in the old McEwen gym or I wouldn't have had to walk as far tonight.
  22. To be honest with you those nobodies helped McEwen to a 20+ win season which is pretty dang good. And considering how Puckett can not guard 5 people at once those nobodies can play pretty tight D. All the NCS games were low scoring, and Puckett didn't guard all of NCS's many shooters, Jo Byrns(even though they aren't good) had 9 points through 3 quarters against them, so either Puckett has 4 arms to play D with or whether you like it or not the McEwen "role players" as it would seem, are good. And again according to the stats, with the exception of the Harpeth game Puckett was the leading scorer but he didn't have the majority of their points. I'm not trying to get into a big argument with you so don't give any smart comments because I just gave facts.
