I would still like to see ZION ACADEMY go DIV II. We'll see. I know there has been talk about it.

I guess mine topic was a little late but it doesn't matter. RoRo was awesome and great COACHING won the game. MP beat a good team tonight.

I know MP has a bunch of players that have the potential to play at the next level but not sure if they will. I know Adam Nolen has got to be look at. Theo, RoRo, and Jamarcus definitely have the talent but again not sure about their test scores.

Agree. I'm sorry but public schools are going down gradually. We have the lawyers to thank for that. I think if you want your child to have a better chance at exceeding in life then attending a private school is the way to go.

There Defense is pretty good, I saw them play once this year. I don't think MP will get too many passing yards unless Jamarcus just has an unbelievable night. I do however think MP will be able to run consistently. I think this game will be in the 30's for both teams. The only thing is, passing doesn't take up much time and if MP has a couple of fumbles then it could get out of reach. I don't expect them to fumble b/c they haven't much all year. Anyone know how many TO(fumbles) they've given up?(not including interceptions).

I know you all probably don't know much about Mt. Pleasant but at the end of the year I promise all top tens will have them in there. How can someone put Summertown and Perry County in there and not mention MP. MP will win their district with ease this year.

I think they should be split up but not during the regular season. I think if two teams want to play each other then thats great. I mean for example, CA and MP, this has always been a great rival and is just a great game no matter who wins or how bad. I'm sure the community of brentwood likes the BA/ brentwood game when it's played. These types of games just give off a great atmosphere of high school football.

I don't know of any official offers yet, but Jamarcus has been contacted by Marshall and Michigan. I think he's awaiting his ACT score.

I totally disagree. I attended a public before going to high school. There are always going to be different beliefs anywhere you go. I think this woman is obviously upset at the test scores of the schools she is suppose to be leading. Let's look at this in a different perspective-How many students that attended private school go on to attend college and become more productive in their life than do students that attended a public institute( i'm talking precentage). I can almost guarantee you all that the majority of students in Tennessee's Med schools and Law schools graduated from a private high school. Therefore the diversity she is implying too has nothing to do with harming a students future. I can also say this - Privates take more field trips pertaining to different cultures than do publics. The teachers care a whole lot more and actually care about the students learning the material. Privates also have a much broader teaching of a variety of languages. I learned more just dealing with life while I was at private school than I did all through elementary and middle school (attended public). I PERSONALLY THINK MORE AND MORE PARENTS ARE GOING TO SEND THEIR KIDS TO PRIVATE SCHOOLS. PUBLIC SCHOOL ARE GOING DOWN AND IT ALL STARTED WITH THEIR LEADERS NOT STANDING UP FOR WHATS RIGHT. THEY'VE ALLOWED TO MUCH SIN INTO THE SCHOOL SYSTEMS. THE STUDENTS HAVE ALL THE POWER IN A CLASSROOM IN TODAYS SOCIETY. A TEACHER CAN'T EVEN PADDLE ANYMORE, I THINK THATS RIDICULUS. I ALWAYS HATED GETTING A PADDLING, AND IT HAPPENED QUITE OFTEN IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, BUT IT ALSO TAUGHT LESSONS THAT CAN'T BE LEARNED BY SENDING A STUDENT HOME.

The cascade team I saw play would have blasted WC or huntland. MP played fairly good and it was still a close one. Good luck but it doesn't help that y'all draw DCA the first round. If any other region 6 team had a chance to win besides MP my money would be on cascade.

yeah yeah yeah...I read it the first time. Are there anymore that want to add anything else? Everyone knows their passing D needs a little work. Don't get mad b/c i pointed it out. We'll see how they do in the playoffs. Good luck MP.

Hey my alma mater's best player went there this year , Nathan Cass, I was j/w how he's doing? any info?......The way i understand it, he can't play until JAN. He was going to be quite a force this year in single A for ZION ACADEMY. He's about 6-6 and can really play.

Thats what he's saying. He's clearly stating that no one had a really good passing game and thats why MP won the region so easily. I do believe cascade is the only team that had a good passing game in the region but it's no where close to being in the same league with CPA. Their recievers are bigger and faster will have to be defended man to man for MP to have a chance.

Mt. Pleasant does have a lot of talent but you're right I don't think region 6 is as good as it use to be. I think they will go 1-4 vs. region 5 this year. I've tried to be as optomistic as I can about Mt. Pleasant beating the privates and i've only stated about what I think are their weaknesses are. I guess time will tell if I'm right. Apparantly, the other fans that get on coacht from MP don't think they have any weaknesses. AGAIN time will tell.

Just my opinion guys. Their passing game consist of lobbing the ball to Jamarcus and letting him make the play besides #5 running an out every now and then (which seems to work). Maybe i'm a bit critical but I think for them to contend this year they're going to have to improve their passing O AND D! What was up with #4 ? why didn't he play that much?

I still keep my picks but MP's passing game is going to have to improve.

I don't really remember anyone but #1 and #7 for cascade. AGAIN MP has the potential!!! but they can't play a good game one week and then play a bad one the next week. Home field advantage will help in the playoffs. If they do beat CPA they better bring that A game they've played with 8 out of 10 games this season.

Been at the game. MP won't last past the second round. Their passing offense and passing defense just isn't there. I've seen both CPA and MP play this year and I don't think the MP corners can hang with CPA's recievers, in fact i know they can't. Jamarcus is awesome and is probably the best player in single A ball this year but he does it all and gets no help from their QB. He needs to try and actually lead Jamarcus on a pass thumb . Not taking away anything from Cascade b/c they have a good team. Their QB was the best i've seen in all the games i've been to this year including the CPA game but he doesn't have the talented recievers he needs. I've never seen a high school QB run the width of a field and throw the ball back 40 YARDS down field, it was simply remarkable ( The reciever of course didn't catch it b/c he was too busy trying to get his mid-section caught up with his legs) but it was an awesome throw. MP has the talent but not getting it done in the passing GAME.

There are about 11 guys on MP's team that will dish it out too him. Never seen him play but the team from MP has got some hard nose players they will hit him.

We don't exactly like it either.(71-0)(26-0, last year) This game is only played b/c of the guys at the newspaper wanted something to write about. ZCA has no affiliation with region 6, Not yet anyway and I doubt they will.

I don't think anyone knows what MP can really do b/c they haven't been tested this season at all. I already picked them to beat the privates of nashville this year but again really don't know what their capable of doing. I guess we'll see.
