I heard Maryville won 40-38. The last match was the deciding factor as freshman Landon Hall won the 145 match by a major decision.

Zach Thomason of Maryville is not only a great football player, he is an awesome wrestler.

Kyle Waldrop? I definitely wouldn't wanna see him play Gaskin one-on-one because Gaskin would probably break the kid's ankles and put him out of baseball. As for church league, that's where all the wannabe Lee Humphreys play! Schooling a choirboy is a lot different than dominating Karns' best player.

How bad did Cumberland County beat Maryville? The Maryville kids should've won, considering they were trained by last year's seniors. The kids at Maryville are killing machines!! Cumberland County must have had a lucky day!

No kidding! The kid is unreal! Being a former wrestler, he almost beat me. All the other 8th graders better watch out!

Romberg is having an awesome season. 189 is even this year so he could end up being a champ. Anyways, he's a good kid with a good work ethic so he deserves to win.

Eppolito is a hard worker and a good kid. Stop bashing on him. He does what he needs to do for the team. He might not put up good numbers, but the Maryville team is rocking with him starting.

Humphrey is the hardest worker in the state, so he deserves all the talk about him. He is for real--he's always in the gym getting better. Look forward to seeing him ball at florida

Maryville is one of the stronger teams in East Tennessee. It shows that their guys have worked hard. Look for them to prove themselves this year.

Don't forget about Zach Thomason. He is probably the strongest 160 and he has the potential to catch anyone at anytime.
