What are WB's running backs' 40 times?

We all obviously know that it is much easier for an athlete to get into Maryville than a non-athlete. In most cases these athletes know somebody involved with the school through family or experiences in the youth leagues. Life is about who you know most of the time and that's just the way it is. Maryville fans try to play it off by joking around about it, but we all know the truth. A huge reason a lot of athletes go to Maryville is because they are more likely to be looked at for college reasons since it is a well-known city school.

Cade is not the typical QB that coach Bunting at North Carolina uses as his starter. He prefers an athlete over smooth throwing ability. Maybe Cade will change things at UNC though. I'm sure not doubting him.

Maryville doesn't complain about losing people because they have transfers coming in all the time. Lawhon was at Maryville before Crain was at WB. So don't act like Maryville got Lawhon cause Crain left. Transferring really all depends on who you know, nobody can deny that.

Clausen is 2nd to Manning in a lot of the stats because he played so much throughout his career because of the lack of a better QB (sadly). Tennessee is in a fix now that they don't even have a QB with much experience. Clausen was never by any means the great QB some of you say he was. Maryville better hope they don't get a younger version of him in their program. (Manning spent most of his time when the offense was not on the field pumping up his teammates, Clausen sat alone just looking around and his brother could very well be the same, Maryville already has the QB they need)

Heritage has a solid player in their sophomore Drew Bowers. Leave it up to the talented sophomore to do something not done in 4 years (beat William Blount). William Blount just didn't want that game like Heritage did. Perhaps they assumed they were going to win because that's what they always do when these two teams meet. You gotta want to succeed more than anything to win. But most importantly you have to do it like Heritage did, as a team!!!

North Carolina seems to have been forgotten on here. So much talent in the Tar Heel state!!!

Kentucky still plays basketball like the days of old. There is not as much pure athletic ability used, but there are many more pure shooters. North Carolina is an even mix of both. When it comes to talent for states as a whole it ranks like this.. 1. North Carolina 2. Tennessee 3. Kentucky Feel free to argue with me if you disagree.

A William Blount player and coach are both posting very strongly....sounds like it must have really been rediculous the other night. I'm sure the head coach is not even thinking about it anymore with a powerhouse like Maryville on the horizon. Best of luck to what sounds like a classy bunch at William Blount.

Does anyone have a good breakdown of how WB's roster is looking at different positions? How strong and how deep?

This shows why Maryville sports are so elite. All these county kids are being forced to go to city schools for the education they deserve. As far as Blount county football....All teams appear to be competitive this year and it should be a great season of high school football in the county we call Blount.

Well...I just got off the terlet so I'm in a pretty good mood and on top of that I lost 5 lbs last week, the mercy rule is stupid in my opinion! I mean this isn't baseball...give me something to watch. If the mercy rule goes into effect then i am gonna become the percelein king and just pinch loaves all day!!!
