Visitor side is 1/4 of the home side so even when visitor side is cramped, the home side only has to be 1/4 full to have equal numbers. I do realize Cleveland doesn't travel as well as they did in their heyday (which really isn't saying much, winning cures road fan numbers). I never said anything about Rhea's tradition, but I do agree that Rhea is one of the better environments in the state. With that being said, they can never match the facilities/buying power of Cleveland. I think the next round of candidates will be from out of state (if Crawford doesn't pan out).

"Good" coaches aren't desired. Only top tier will do.. Sure it's not a dynasty, but it is still a top 10 program in the state. Steady and good talent along with good pay, great fan support and high expectation. Only 5-10 schools other than Cleveland that are equal or better situation for the coach. Beefstew, I have previous read your link, I reviewed it again. I guess I can see where the packline/sagging D can help to stop the penetration (all the way for a layup); but it still requires help sliding over, which is what the DDM takes advantage of. I agree with your thoughts on the 2-3 but there are other zones out there that I think would work better.

My limited understanding of the DDM is that after the intitial penetration, it is the "help" that triggers the offense into another penetration or shot. I just don't see how a sagging D stops the DDM.

Isn't it the rotation that is keying the offense? Seems to me that this type of D would only work with superior athletes. With equal athletes the DDM gets the nod over this D. Why not clog the middle with a zone of some sort? Eliminates the penetration and forces outside shot. Just thinking outloud. Comments?
