occhsfan, had a little conversation with some very close sources last friday about the possibility of some of the players on he sideline possibly seeing some time on the defensive side of the ball, and the answer was zilch forget it the best players this team has are already on the field,they felt like no one on the sideline could help, sorry but i have to disagree with their thinking

Folks, We as supporters of Obion Central and South Fulton Football have vented our frustration on this post, we have bashed the commentators, the management, to no avail , in one of the very first pages of this post it was told that the school has the right to say which type of media covers their sports,so instead of making calls to the station and complaining why dont we all call both principles at these 2 schools at ask them to not allow this radio station to come to the games and do their so called updates, and then search for another station that would be willing to give these 2 schools back their play by play

I agree with you occhsfan, redbird you seem to be awful close to this sitiuation, so lay it on the line have fans been complaining about centrals play by play man, and if this is the case I dont see there complaint DC seems to be very good at what he does he has a passion for the programs, but if there have been any complaints why doesnt the radio station sit down with him and resolve this matter rather than drop play by play the players enjoy knowing they may get their names called out on the air and the folks that listen remember these kids names, and when they see them out in public or at church or any where they tell the guys hey i heard your name on the radio the other night I think this gives the players alot of pride

mg, after watching the trojans in both their scrimmages, do you think the rebels could compete with milan?

I totally agree with you occhsfan,scrimmages do not count against anyones record,but this problem carries back to last season against Peabody and the last game with Brighton what needs to transpire for this defense to be able to stop the misdirection and straight dive plays right over the guards, just looking for answers,I too have a son on this team and would love for us to stop giving up so much straight up the field, do you think our defensive scheme is set up with to much emphasis put on stopping the sweep.

Looking for some honest opinions on what they thought of this past fridays scrimmage with dresden and west carroll,I personally feel like the rebels will need to score lots of points because the defense did not look like they were capable of stopping a good running attack,gave up to many yards to ball carriers right up the middle of the field

I would have to say that Dyersburg has excellent facilities and field,dyesburg seems to put a emphasis on their baseball being just as good as their football and basketball

probably will finish someting similiar to last season my young rebel brother, i figure the 4 playoff spots to belong to c-town ,the young guns from troy, ripley, brighton, then i think gibson county leap frogs out of the cellar with dyer county bottoming out

My son is a freshman and made the highschool team,but he along with the other freshman on the team do not get to travel with the team or even dress for the home games is this a common practice in high school baseball or does it seem to be just the school he attends,they are also not even considered jv players
