first off, he matches the money that is raised by HCWC, looks like last year he posted the Jones Foundation gave something like 14K to HCWC to match funds! You were already proven wrong that he matches that always as he screwed Ben Smith many years ago when Allan called him a liar when shown how much they earned with fundraisers, but I would be willing to bet he's NEVER questioned what HCWC says they raise! However HCWC ALSO receives a grant from Community Foundation of Cleveland and Bradley County and that grant comes from money that is given to the club that is earmarked specifically and only to HCWC, that amount was 14k last year! That money might come from Allan Jones and its been given for a few years now but the money given to CFCBC was given anonymously so there is no way to know who gave it! But its given to them as a dedicated fund so it can only be given to HCWC. So I would be willing to bet you have NO idea how much Allan gives to them yourself! Also last year it shows coaches for HCWC were paid 27k plus for coaching. So how many coaches are getting paid for HCWC as I would bet that amount is prob triple if not more than about any other wrestling club in TN, heck it's probably more than what most wrestling clubs have in their entire budget! Also what about Bosken losing his job many years ago and Allan paying him a salary to literally coach HCWC when he didnt have a job so that they wouldnt lose him?

The same could be said for 2 others on that team where their fathers were legacy wrestlers at Soddy Daisy. Could you imagine this team next year if they had both Lane and Ritchie? I have zero issue with that, sucks they went that route as a fan, but it happens, we have lost kids to McCallie and Baylor in other sports for years.

This semi match between Soddy and Station Camp might be the finals match like Cleveland vs Summit. Station Camp is tough and they will give Soddy a run for the money

Well I was totally wrong on Anderson County, Station camp might be the 2nd best team in A this year. I was right about Signal being pretty much 4 wrestlers I was just wrong about them beating Tullahoma. I still take my Soddy vs PF final though

Artis, not sure who does this voting or if they even pay attention to anything, but to have Soddy at 10 is plain stupid! Also Blackman got beat head to head by Bradley and Soddy beat Bradley by like 40, Soddy would also beat CBHS and prob Brentwood and Nolensville which didn’t even make state because Brentwood beat them but yet are ranked ahead of Brentwood. If this is the best coaches can do it might need some new coaches doing the voting.

ummm, I'm pretty sure he was using Facts NOT A CRUTCH, but you do you! Either way not sure why it mattered anyways when WC got their butts kicked by Cleveland in the finals so it's not like Soddy would have won the state title anyways! But again his FACTS of if both Fowlers and lets go with Lucas S get thrown off the team in the morning, Summit has a good shot at the upset, although with those 3 gone its not really an upset at that point, just like Soddy getting beat by WC wasn't either!

not sure anyone said it was a crutch, but you said it would be a upset like that dual was, but without the 3 wrestlers including Turbo that Soddy team was no longer the favorite, so you would be wrong! Also Soddy didn't do it to themselves, those kids being kids did it to themselves and so the entire team had to suffer for it

PF should get pins at 165, 190, 215 and 275, they also will prob get wins with Pratt, Cable and Hood. Yes SM should get bonus points at 106, whatever 2 weights the Uhorchuks go and 175. That 113 with Signal did not impress me at all, Jenkins absolutely destroyed him the other night until Davis in the 3rd who was about to get TF caught Jenkins trying to roll and had him on his back, so not sure I would count bonus there although I guess possible. So really it as always depends on where Signal moves the brothers because they don't have much in the JV so they cant really move around everyone as they just aren't deep and I would say PF is deeper and can just give those points up and win most of the other weight classes I say SM moves Jojo to 126 against Perez and moves Ethan up to 138 against Pratt, IF PF sends 2nd on those they can bump up Pratt to 144, Cable to 150 and Hood to 157. I wonder how Howard would do moving up and wrestling Jackson at 175?

I haven't seen PF this season, but I just don't see how they get beat by Signal. Signal has 4 wrestlers and that is about it, after watching them the other night! PF has more good wrestlers with Pratt, Cable, Hood, both Howards, the 215 and heavy aren't very bad either and SM isn't very good at 215 and 275 so PF should win those matchups also, I feel PF can give SD a run for their money that Signal can't.

I take it from Santee at KO got beat in semis 4-2 by Hodge and Logan beat Hodge 5-1, hence the major and not a tech or pin, but of course it really depends on how Logan wants to wrestle as he teched Cody of Jesuit who beat Santee 5-2 for 3rd. Either way it would be a heck of a match and a dream to get to see. Good luck to you all this weekend up in Franklin, prob don't need it but good luck!

Trey, you have literally looked the entire time like a child, I've just helped make you look a fool also! Although I'm sure you would have done a great job doing that anyways on your own!

also I never said you are only good because of Allan, I SAID YOU WOULD NOT BE AS GOOD AS YOU ARE NOW WITHOUT ALLAN JONES, he's literally put millions into that program from building a wrestling only building, funding coaches(including paying for a full year of Josh when he lost his job as head coach of Cleveland to literally coach a kids club full time, not sure there is ANY other program out there doing that)! He also was the one that paid the money to start the club with a big donation to fund the startup costs which just like any other business that seed money to start is the biggest hurdle! But I have never said that was the reason you are good, I said that is the reason you are head and shoulders above everyone else right now and we were fighting for Summit getting them first round instead of the finals!

they are average at best, they made state playoffs in 2023 miss last year and made it 2 more years and missing it before that. I admit Soddy Daisy sucks and has since they pretty much lost Price forever ago, Barnes was ok but the teams were average which is about all it takes to make the playoffs and in some years you dont even have to be average since I've seen teams with losing records make it since it's not hard to make the playoffs!

your football team sucks buddy! For as good as your wrestling team is, your football team isnt! They have missed the playoffs altogether in 2022 and 2019, those other years for your senior wrestlers they have not made it out of the first round, the latest any of them have played was Nov 5th, so yeah maybe your best wrestlers have played football but they also get out pretty early to get back to wrestling

3 weeks longer this year to get wrestlers into shape and on weight, last year would have been a long time since you didnt make the playoffs and even though Buford only made the 2nd round that was still Nov 18th when they got put out, the year before that they won State in football and didnt finish until Dec 11th. So yeah it makes a big difference in those early year tourneys when you have weeks more to prepare get in shape and on weight. I mean their HW that weighs under 215 now was 235 at 5'10 in football shape as a LB and FB.

yep, for sure! We just fired our coach because they were terrible, have been for a very long time which means we have an added bonus of getting our wrestlers in to actually get into wrestling shape and be able to wrestle

Cleveland isnt very good at football, you haven't made it out of the first round of the playoffs(the latest being Nov 6th since any of the kids have went to the high school! Literally this past season you all were out NOV 3RD BUFORD WASNT OUT TILL NOV 24TH so a difference of 3 weeks!

Cleveland isnt really good at football much anymore, they went 6-5 this year and bounced 1st round Nov 3rd, didnt make it the year before and they havent made it out of the 1st round in many years

they got put out in the third round this year which was 11/24 so yeah they would be missing some guys in early to mid December and for reference although I'm not sure how many football players you all have, but Cleveland football was eliminated on 11/3

but that's the thing, you can't be bumping people, because first you have NO idea what weight it starts at or who has to send out who first. So you take their lineup straight up and your lineup straight up and make a prediction. It's the only way it works even for hypothetical matchups. So tomorrow they will put out their lineup for regions which should be their toughest lineup since its for state individuals and they want to take all 14 to state. Also, yes their HW is under 215 so he might wrestle 215, but most every match he has had this year has been at 285 including state duals, the Southern Slam and KC Stampede, he wont Southern Slam and was 1 match away from placing at KC which is a very tough tournament. So he's a good wrestler.

yep, they have a very tough schedule against some of the best teams across the country, all the while their football team ends up a lot of times playing into December so they don't have their full team until sometime in mid December or even January, since we all know football shape and wrestling shape are not the same!

I did, but Trey the douche wants to keep crying about not having a brain, must suck his entire life is wrestling he really needs a hobby, I enjoy my hobbies and so my life isn't entirely made of my sons soccer, sadly Trey there still living vicariously through his son!
