That's Rankin alright! I've watched them for 10 years or better and he's done it that way every since I can remember! Unless your a superstar underclassmen you don't see the field till your at least a junior and most of the time a senior regardless of the score! If he can pile it on he will!

I'd have to say your safe as far as topic #1! (lol) And I'm glad you got 411 on Kenny! Maybe you could come and watch him wrestle this year? Believe it or not he's twice as good on the mat as he is on the gridiron!

The Blaze O never established anything! They could have went off tackle all night! Mimms and Kenny would have wore them out if they would have done that! We haven't had a decent DC at Blackman yet! They hire a proven one and make him a line coach! GO FIGURE!

Sad,sad,sad! Two of the worst coached teams in the Boro! Check that, in the whole region 4 5a! The Patriots will probably take the last playoff spot! Would someone tell me if the Blackman coaches are ever going to tell their kickoff and punt returners the proper techniques when to field the football and when to get away from it! Basics, it's just that simple! Tonight reminded me of last year when we played that fantastic game against Brentwood and came back the next week and the coaches acted like they forgot what we did the week before! We played like champs against LC and totally changed our philosophy against Siegel! Been around for 5 years and it just hasn't improved! I know the lineman are inexperienced but that was not the case last night! siegel has improved but not that much! Good luck Blaze, you guys are going to need it!

Hey guys what's up? Here's my take on the LC game. Yeah the offense played a good game, and the O-line and D-line played way better than expected! But the real difference in this game was two Senior leaders who stepped their total game up friday night! Meredith and Miles led by example, they played the best game of their high school careers against the Falcons! We expected it on offence, but it was what they did on defense that should have won the game friday! I watched 2 preseason scrimmages and the Blaze defense was non-existant! Those 2 young men played so well the raised the level of play from the rest of their fellow teammates! Kenny and Greg I was very proud of you 2 friday, keep it up and things will only get better! I still say the Blaze have a long way to go, but they will get better with every snap af the ball! region4 fan, in regards to your Meredith story I was not there so I cannot comment on it! I feel like I know you somewhat from our chats on here so I won't dispute your judgement on this incident! I know you are for all the Boro kids as I am! But, I've been very close to Kenny since his freshman year! He is a very good kid and a very respectful person. I know his background and he could have very easily went the other way but he chose the right path with some very influential guidence. Nobody's perfect, we have all had days we didn't make the right choice! Kenny is a little cocky, but what testosterone(sp.) filled teenager isn't? My son considers him a brother and I love him like a son! I wish you could meet him and you would see the young man I see! thumb Top 4 Qb's in region are probably Thomas, Orona, Smith, and Locke. And the Warriors should be even better and what's worst FASTER!!!! BA over Oakland - Sorry region4fan, but you guys lost everyone! You guys aren't even reloading you are trying to find the bullets with all the new faces! Give em heck anyways! CC over Seigal - My favorite coach still doesn't have a clue! Antioch over Lebanon - The "Cocker effect"!! Enough said!! Wilson Central over Cumberland County - Going on past years I'm guessing WC's team speed will win this one! MBA over LaVergne - Wish I was wrong Wolverhines, but the Big Red has the best of everything money can buy! These guys will always have the advantage over the public schools! Smyrna over H-ville - I'm kind of worried about this one b/c I know the Bulldogs and I also know the Commando's and they have one of the best Coaching staffs in the Midstate! The Black and Gold won't just roll over for the Bulldogs! Hillsboro over Pearl Cohn - Boro's reloaded and ready to play! White House over Portland - My BDP won't let me pick any other way! GO BLUE DEVILS!!! thumb

Take it from an ex- Blue Devil, it's hard to beat the Coaching staff, Traditon, and BDP (Blue Devil Pride) that runs through not only the players, but the whole community! It's hard to beat the atmosphere of small town football like the White House community! The support won't be denied!!! GO BLUE DEVILS!!!

hs sports fan, Sorry to tell you but my man but region4fan speaks the truth! Everything he has said about "Run Em Up" Rankin is fact! I've wittnessed it first hand many times. I never will forget the time he drummed the Oakland freshmen like 70 to zip and never played a second teamer the whole game. If I'm not wrong I believe it was Rico Turners freshman year! It was a massacre that not only upset the Patriot fans but I amoung the rest of the Warrior fans were embarraced to be Riverdale fans! There was absolutly no reason except for malice to do that to them! Riverdale has a great winning tradition no doubt, but I know many ex-Warriors (big time starters not benchwarmers) who will tell you they have "zero" respect for Rankin!

So you mean we can't talk even though we've beat you guys a couple of times! (lol)

Gibson definately deserved the OW award at this years tourney! But both James and Leen are OW's in their own right! All very special young men along with all the wrestlers (Guys and Gals) I had the pleasure to watch this great season! I can't wait till next season! Good luck to all the Seniors! As for everyone else work hard in the offseason!

Blackman is one of those teams without a full roster that is doing very well this year! They forfiet 3 weight classes every match and their 215 weighs 182 and thier Heavy weighs 202 on a good day! They have some 1st year wrestlers making great strides everytime they step on the mat! Bunch of great young men with alot of heart!

This will be a close game till the end and Blackman's experience pulls this one out by 4 or 5 points! The Blaze were in a funk the last time these two met, but the Seniors won't let that happen this time around! The Stars are decent this year and will only get better with PT, but it's just not thier time yet!

I think that's a very bold statement about the Marable kids. I'm sure their both very good but Williams and Meredith from Blackman are pretty good in their own rights! Meredith wanted to wrestle Mike badly, when he found out he wasn't there he was very upset. Is CBHS coming to the Brentwood tourney? Maybe they'll get to meet up there? I sure hope so, should be a very good match!

This was a good game, period! Plain and simple, it could have gone either way! To be honest niether team played their best basketball! Price nor Lyons played their best, both were very tight and never really loosened up! To say Price or Lyons was not cold is ludicrous! Say what you will but Sneed will improve the Blaze lineup tremendously! There is a lot of B-ball to be played and these 2 teams should meet a couple more times, so stop all this internet smack talking and let the guys decide whose team is the best on the court!
