great season girls...sorry it didnt end up the way most of you wanted it to...but overall it was a great season! i am proud of all of you.

What do you do when a very talented player gets really burned out, and is not for sure they want to continue playing?

pitchers get all the credit because what they do is easy to recognize...both what they do good and what they do bad. i know, that sometimes other players get frustrated for not getting enough recognition and i agree that they should get more. anything and everything that a pitcher does is so easily recognized....thats why you guys stand out.

its the beginning of the season for BA and they are already showing that they may just have a pretty strong team this year even after the loss of sara meek. shelby mashburn should have a good season! good luck eagles!

who are some of the best pitchers (from anywhere) that you ever faced?

yea i think it should. summer teams could start earlier in the year which would give them more practice time to become better. also someone said that softball would interfere with football, well volleyball interferes with it now so either way one sport is going too.

BHS's pticher is good. hopefully she will work hard enough to get them a state title

the huntsville storm 18 U gold is the best around. they beat the parker eagles in the chatt. memorial tourney and have great players and a great coach. their pitcher is holy curry and one of the best i have ever seen.

although, Brentwood Academy softball should not do very well this year. i think catcher cassie simpson will do better and have a great season as a junior.

brentwood high will be strong this year...i think some people are overlooking them because they lost 4 seniors...but they have 3 seniors that will do well for them this year.

i agree...i think BHS will have a great chance at state this year.

i think seniors kelly major and jennifer jones and new senior transfer krissy casey will carry the bruin team very well. and they have their sarting pitcher back, so they should do great.

anyone have any prediction as to how well BHS will be this year? i know that they have 2 returing seniors in kelly major and jennifer jones and one new seniors transfer in krissy casey. and alison tyree is back which is their main pitcher.

i think ba will unfortunatly be pretty bad this year. i think senior outfielder liz austin will do well and chrissa cantrell might do ok also. shelby mashburn and cassie simpson should do great and work together well. leigh little will also do her part. however, this will be a rebuilding season for the eagles...but you never know they could do alright.
