The scrimmage went pretty good. Only a few of out football players played. Walter and Vince didnt play. They are a very good team and we played with them. There was one quarter when we let the younger kids play that was pretty bad but overall the scrimmage was good. We erased the score after every quarter. Thats why i have no final score.

Scrimages at Greenville starting at 8:00 AM. I only know of a few teams that will be there. Elizabethton, Greenville, Pigeon Forge and im not sure about these: AE, Fulton. Im sure there are others. All i know for sure is that we play at 8 and 9. Against Greenville and Pigeon Forge

I dont know about that. Right now we only have 2 players with any varsity experience at all. The rest have dressed but never really did play. This will be good for the young guys for both teams. It will let them get some minutes in and hopefully they will learn a little bit.

Any scrimages coming up? We've got Cloudland on thursday and then next week we go to Db(cant remember what day) and on the 16th we go to Greenville to scrimage Greenville and Pigeon Forge.

Is Maryville playin in the Arby's? It'd be nice. Hopefully the field will be better than last year. Well has any heard what the field will be? and Stokomo Science Hill is missin a team to play at Roundball. Alcoa dropped out on them. What a perfect oppurtunity to see an Elizabethton/Science Hill game, right? and I think we are short one game as well...hmm...

I was talking to a man from Coeburn,Va today, he said that there was a rising senior playing for a 19-under team from the Tri-Cities area. If i remember correctly, the young mans name was BJ Miller. If anyone has any information on him, please pass it this way. I would love to know what highschool,any stats, any awards, or anything else that goes along with him. From what my informant says, BJ is a very good player. I have asked around and nobody seems to know much about him. Like i said if anyone has any info, please help. And while I'm on East Tennessee, who else would be worth the price of admission to see.

my fault i forgot about Rahman...Nope we havent played DB this summer. WE thought that Science Hill was going to be at Tech when we were but it turned out that it was the Freshman team. And thanx for the kind words.

actually i am BJ Miller. Umm...I would never diss Science Hill. I basically grew up in JC. I have no idea who this kryptonite guy is. I like everyone on the Hill's team. As for Science Hill this year, I hope they have a great year and everything but losing as much as they did and who it was they lost will be hard to replace. Nick and Jerome will lead that team. DD will finally get his chance to play, which I am glad to see, me and him are pretty good friends. The SH/DB game will be a great one to watch, if theres any way possible, i will be there for the game(s). It will be tough for science hill to beat DB. DB has a very good nucleus of players: Azmar, Henry and Wooten if he is healthy. As for us dropping down: I never have liked it. I know it gives us a better chance of winning and going farther into the tournament but when i was growing up you werent any good until you beat Science Hill. My sophmore year we had 2 very good games with them. I think that we should play each other in the season. I think it would be great for both. As many people as it would bring to the game, if you just think about it, it seems that we should play. But ah well, i dont have any say over that so im gonna quit whinin. I love Science Hill basketball and everything but you people have no idea what you are talking about. Elizabethton is where it is supposed to be in AA. The school cant help that the surounding area has 3 other highschools:Happy Valley, Unaka and Hampton. I would love to see Elizabethton and the Hill play during the season. Only 2 people know why they dont Hardin and Poe. Maybe they will meet in the Arby's. Last years game was a good one all the way to the end. Rob killed'em with the three's he nailed to open up the fourth quarter. But anyways...All i am saying back off of Elizabethton. They are where they are supposed to be.

Good player that not many people know about because of lack of success of his team. BJ Miller from Elizabethton is a great player. He knows the game well and is a very complete baseball player. He helped lead the surprising cyclone baseball team to the region 1-AA championship game while hitting over .650 in the tournament. In the regional championship he went 3-4 with a homerun and 5 runs scored. He walked twice. If you havent seen him play you need to check him out sometime. He is an exciting player to watch. Nobody could have thrown out the runner at home im sorry to disappoint you. I dont care who was out there in centerfield. That ball was well hit and in order for someone to throw out the tagging runner they would have to have a cannon for an arm. Yeah roop had a good arm but still it would have been very tough for anyone to throw him out.

you mean the hodge kid? yeah hes alright. it would help him out alot with the scouts and everything if he was about 6'3 instead of 5'3 but i give him credit he does have alot of heart.
