  1. Yea i guess you are right, but i think i have a better shot at winning the powerball tonight than Dekalb does of beating Macon! But anything is possible.....
  2. The records you have would be correct, and i believe that during tie breaking procedures once a team is eliminated you start back at the top of the list. I could be wrong though.
  3. Your outlook is a little off Catfish. If Greenbrier wins one of the next two games they are the Region Champs. It doesn't matter who they beat or who they lose to. A win over Macon and a loss to White House would put them into a three-way tie. White House would get 3rd due to overall record, but after one team is eliminated through tie breakers you start back at the top and Greenbrier would have the head to head over Pearl Cohn. This is all assuming Pearl wins out. The top four teams are set and there is no way any of the other teams can get in.
  4. This will be a pretty good game, however if Sycamore can't pass then I will have to go with White House. The Blue Devils give a huge cusion to the receivers, and the quick game is there all night. However, they will not give up a big play passing. Defensively they will blitz from anywhere on the field, and like to slant the d-line due to the lack of size. Sycamore definately has a chance to win this game, but the White House offense seems to be gathering steam so i say watch out War Eagles i'm saying Blue Devils win 24-13.
  5. This will be a blowout! Westmoreland wins 42-6
  6. Catfish I will give you credit, you are normally on top of things. However, Macon doesn't have to beat Sycamore and Station Camp assuming White House, Pearl Cohn, and Greenbrier all beat Macon, Sycamore, and Station Camp. Macon can beat Sycamore and Dekalb and get in due to a three way tie for fourth place. The first tie-breaker is head to head and that would have to be thrown out. The second tie-breaker is overall record and that would probably throw out Station Camp. You would then start back at the top and if Macon beats Sycamore they would have the head to head tie-breaker. All this is probably too early to be thinking about, but it is very much possible.
  7. Actually Twan if you must know, nobody had on Fulton Jerseys! There were two Fulton Sweatshirts and a T-Shirt. The funny thing is the T-Shirt belonged to someone from Smith County who had bought it the year before when Macon traveled to Fulton. That's typical though. Myself and Tennisguy got sweatshirts so the guy with the T-Shirt didn't feel alone!
  8. Dang Twan you are a genius, except you don't even know our schedule. We don't play Livingston this year, we play York. That means we are favored in four games. By the time week six rolls around we might just be favored over Carthage! We are small and slow and will be lucky to win a game ! I wouldn't even write about us on coacht twan we aren't worth discussing. I am surprised we even have a team! The Tigers are going to surprise some people this year, including the night chickens!
  9. Hey timbdp, we have gotten a transfer from White House here at Macon County. Do you know who he is or anything about him? He is a junior this year and was supposed to play for yall this year. I was just curious if he would help or not. I can't remember his name right now.
  10. Well it usually alternates between east and west. Last year the western regions had homefield, so this year i guess everyone will travel east. So if the winner of Region 1 met the winner of Region 2 in the quarterfinals, then 2 would travel to 1 and so forth.
  11. I believe I know what what innings pitched means. In highschool there are no thirds of innings. If you throw one pitch in an inning you are charged with one inning pitched. If he pitched in four innings one game and seven the next he would be over his limit.
  12. Sounds like he may have been eligilbe. Ten innings in consecutive days is the pitching limit. Saw a district tournament decided like this a few years ago.
  13. Actually Macon County returns 25 Juniors, most of which saw action last year as sophmores. They do have about 12 Seniors and several of those fill key positions.

    DISTRICT 8AA

Macon County is 9-2 in the district after a 14-4 victory over Springfield tonight! Have Station Camp, Lipscomb, and Greenbrier left.

    DISTRICT 8AA

Well Macon County is now 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the district. They have a big week this week with two games against Portland and a trip to Springfield. It doesn't seem right, but our district schedule will be halfway over in just two weeks. I hope all the teams out of the district have fun on their Florida trips... wish we could still take ours!

    District 7a?

Macon won something like 17-3 the scoreboard wasn't on.
  17. I think you are crazy!!! RE by as bad as they want to make it. They had a good practice session tonight against Humboldt.

    DISTRICT 8AA

Macon County defeated MLK 13-0 in five innings.
  19. Macon County will travel to Martin Luther King on Monday in what will be a season opening district game! Should be a heated contest. Nobody wants to lose their first district game of the year.

    District 7A

Do you think you could get on here monday when you get done and tell me a little about the game, or maybe i can call you is your number in the phone book?

    District 7A

Hey Swanson, do yall play Dekalb at home or away on Monday? do you think you could post your schedule for this year on here?
  22. Well you may make the state tournament, but you won't beat Jackson County in the years to come. I loved watching Oliver Springs play last year, but the bottom line is Jackson County is going to be tough the next 6 or 7 years.
