  3. The best pitchers are all on the same travel team........Let's see the Nighthawks 16's (Kenny's Girls) have uhhhhhhhhh Danielle Pieroni, Christi Cunningham, Katie Rothamel and Jennifer Brewington. SHUCKS they are gonna run the show this year! GOOD LUCK GIRLS !!!!!! [Edited by QueenBee on 4-4-03 3:27P]
  4. Keep up the good work Jennifer regardless of what you think WE all are pulling for ya! You have done a great job thus far and WE look forward to the next three years! It is amazing to me how well you do under so much pressure. YOU work very hard and it shows. You give 110% and expect the same from your defense and that shows your competitive side. YOUR hard work DOES NOT go unnoticed. We (LHS Fans) are very proud of you! Cudo's to ya
  5. ~*~ YES ~*~ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Try to use this weather we are having as a HUGE example for moving softball to fall. Recently I spoke with a coach from Kansas City and he told me that thier softball was played in the fall and it worked out GREAT seems to me that Kansas would have alot colder weather than we would have here that time of the year. I think it would be much better suited for FALL. How many days have any teams actually been able to take the dirt for practicing????? Not many I can grant you. So many teams will begin playing actual games with out EVER being on dirt (using this year's weather as an example). To ALL the ladies that live for this sport of Softball..... GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!! 6. VERY, VERY DOUBTFUL !!!!!!!!!!! Too early in the season to have someone get hurt!!
  7. I think alot of people are forgetting freshman pitcher Katie Rothamel. She throws hard and is a gr8 pitcher. I just hope she has the opportunity to execute her pitches. Everyone is forgetting about the "younger" pitchers. No one has heard of alot of these girls but I can almost guarantee you that ALOT of these "freshman" pitchers are going to be knocking on alot of upper classmen's doors. Remember when the upper classmen are gone it will be these younger players that will triump. KATIE ............ GOOD LUCK this YEAR !!!!!!
  8. Natalee Grace - Short Stop for Goodpasture and the 16 under Nashville Nighthawks she is AWESOME!!!!!
  9. move it to Fall........... spring you have too much rain.....volleyball is played inside so it doesnt matter when it is played as is basketball.....the sports played outside.....softball, football, baseball and soccer.........much better weather in the fall not as much rain and the season would be over with long before the real cold weather hits. They play softball in the fall in Georgia and it has worked great there. And just think how much better travel ball will be as well as HS because the girls will be on fire by the time HS ball starts!
  10. YES !!!! I think it would be much better! You deal with so much rain in the spring and with volleyball being played inside anyway you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The girls that play travel ball will be able to begin thier season earlier and when HS ball resumes those girls will be HOT !!!! My vote is YES !!!!!!!!!!
  11. Jennifer Brewington pitched for the Nashville Nighthawks. She pitched very well for them. The Nighthawks places 11th in the ASA Nationals in Columbus, Georgia this past year. They are moving up to 16 under this coming season. [Edited by pitchrBware on 2-9-03 1:14P]
  12. I think the extremely good freshman that you were speaking of is Jennifer Brewington. She along with the returning players will fair very well this year. I have played with Jennifer and against her and I think she will do well.
  13. The catcher you are referring to is Jennifer Ringlestein, she is very "impressive". She along with fellow senior Cate Guthrie will be missed next year! Lebanon also has a great freshman pitcher joining these seniors this year and they in my opinion will fair very well. It was mentioned that Lebanon was not "very impressive"......what rock did you come out from under (NtheDirt)? Placing 2nd in the Districts two years in a row is very "IMPRESSIVE"
