Thanks for the kind words my friend. I don't play anymore, but I enjoy watching them play. They are young but show signs of talent. All the pressure will be on CB to win, so LC has nothing to lose. With all due respect to ND and CCS, Knox Catholic only has one loss (to CBHS), tied #1 CAK, and beat ND head to head and are a #4. Hmmm..

Granted CBHS is a great team, and I think they will win the whole thing, but JP2 might surprise them. I think playing BGA in round 2 will be tough. It's a wide open field, and anything can happen..

Notre Dame vs CAK? I know it's just speculation, and anything can happen, but that is potentially a state championship game and they can meet in the first round. Same as CAK vs. FRA in 04 and LC vs. Ridgeway in 03. I think they should pull names out of a hat if that's not what already happens..

You have to remember it's high school, and the majority of players will not go to the next level. Also, as a college player myself, you don't see it as much as you used to, which means if the refs aren't calling it, they're not going to do it anymore. The kids that dive in high school are, no offense, usually foreign. In high school, it doesn't benefit you to dive or to foul hard, b/c unless you go pro, you don't see it much at the college level.

I'm just stating the facts my friend. Most teams respond pretty well after taking a beating. I'm just saying don't give them any more motivation than they need. I have seen Farragut play for about 5 yeears now and not once I have seen a dirty Farragut team. It should be a good game so good luck to SH and Farragut.

I agree with hoya. It's too early to tell. The fact of the matter is teams that are having good years (i.e. Madison and Dyersburg) aren't going to be able to schedule the Christian Bros, Houston, MUS,etc. However Dysersburg played Ridgeway to a tough 3-2 game. With more results like this, these teams could find themselves earning the respect of top West TN teams. Hopefully it can continue and balance the competition in A/AA and these teams could potentially play the top teams in the West next year. Good luck to all.

You're so cute. A few points for you to consider: A) I didn't play in that game b/c I wasn't on the team, so you didn't hurt my feelings there. B.You guys (FRA) were the choke artists of 04 and 05. Talk to me when you make it past the semi finals without blowing a game you should've won. Pretty sad that's the only thing you can say about me or Lenoir City. By the way, Eddie is a good player and a legit guy.

The UAB camp was great. It's more for exposure I guess you could say, with a lot of scrimmaging and not much training. Ralph Lundy was a very intense camp, but not so much for older guys.

NO way! I know Kpadeh! He's a big and fast player and nice guy, and he was also one of the forwards who made the All-Tournament team. I saw your pics and I remember seeing you play. You are a good player. I played on the team that lost to the Charlotte Eagles Professional team in the first round. Our other team had a better draw and made it to the semi-finals. Jon Williams? He's a great player. I watched him play for the unvbelievable CBHS team in 2003, and also played against hime 2 years ago (I play for King now) You just seem to know your stuff and you are very unbiased. To your younger son I say good luck on a speedy recovery and I hope he goes on to live his college dream.
