Coalfield fans let me start by apoligizing I let a friend use my user account on here and what does he do but start some junk with ya'll!! My position is this yea Peabody has a good team and has faired well at the Boro' but any of the 8 teams that make it this far are more than capable of winning a gold ball!! So please don't hold the earlier comments against me! Anything can happen at the Boro and it should be a good game Wednesday. Middleton might win but I bet they don't kill Lake Co. unless L.C. can't throw the ball in the ocean and hit water tonight. I doubt that will happen Whitby will have them ready to play!! Good Luck to both teams because a tough game awaits the winner!!

This game is going to be interesting to see. JCS beat a West Carroll team that just didn't show up and held their own against Middleton. Peabody has really been playing well as of late with the return of Doaks and in his absence when everyone thought the Tide's season was over. They prevailed and finally got that first win against L.C. If Sisco keeps up the great coaching job he has done over the last three games and Doaks and company shows up tomorrow night I think Peabody will win. If you give JCS an inch though they will take a mile and the win on their way to the Boro'. Looking forward to a great game @ Peabody!! PHS by 6

I got bad news folks!! Peabody has only lost 3 games in A in the last 4 years including being undefeated this year!! Who has Coalfield played?? Answer Nobody!! Peabody's schedule is way tougher than Coalfield's and don't brag about beating Unaka because they haven't played anybody either and it showed during tournament time!! I GUARANTEE Coalfield has never played a A team like they are going to meet Wed. Lady Tide roll in this one by 10!!!! I'm not guaranteeing a championship for Peabody but I will guarantee that an East TN team doesn't win it!!!! Congratulations on making it this far though and Good Luck you will need it!!

Well I was half right and I'm glad I was because now West TN is represented extremely well in AA girls and I think 1 of them will be bringing home some gold and maybe someone will get a silver too!!! Westview game went about like I called it but I thought going to Memphis might be tougher on O.C. than the end result. congratulations ladies on taking care of business and maybe we will see an O.C. v. Westview final Saturday @ 6:45!!!!

I think Patterson will have his girls ready but they will be outmatched!! Trenton has to much talent and they win by 12+ tonight!!

I hope the View pulls this one out but I think it will be a little closer than everyone thinks. Westview by 6 in a tough game and O.C. gets beat in Memphis by 4!!!!

There are so many great games going on across the state Monday I just wish I could see them all!! BIGWEBB this should be an outstanding game and I agree that if Haywood wins it wouldn't be an upset. These two teams will have to go to war to win this game!! Good Luck to both teams!!

I dunno which was bigger but U.C., White Station, and West Carroll were all dissappointments in there respective classifications!!!! At one point or another each team was ranked in the top two of their class and all failed to make it past the first or second round of region.

My guess is that Coach Sisco has finally realized who his best players are and is sticking with them during the tournaments!! Yancy is a better guard that gives you more offense, less turnovers, and picks up several key rebounds and he is only a freshmen. Add the outstanding play of freshmen Miller and the Tide have really been able to accomplish something since Sisco sat Easley. Good call Coach. Nothing against Easley he just doesn't do the neccessary things to help his team win and I really think that is showing now!

Well peabodymom here is what I think about the Miss Basketball situation. Everyone that knows anything about single A girl's basketball knows Bobbitt's name and what she is capable of doing on the court hence 3 consecutive trips to the state tourney with a fourth on the way plus a state tourney MVP in only her sophomore season. The Edney girl from Perry Co. is an outstanding player and deserves to be in the final three also. She made a name for herself last year @ state and was one of the leading scorers in A this year but her team has been put out already will that hurt who knows?? She is only a junior so she will more than likely be there again next year. The girl from Chatt. Christian is also putting up some big numbers but she is doing so very quietly. She doesn't have as much hype and recognition as the other two but she could pull a lot of votes from east and middle TN. If the voters just base it on points per game Bobbitt will be left on the short end of that list but if they look at each players total package they will see Bobbitt is possibly the best all around player out of the bunch she can score, rebound, guard the other team's best player, block shots and really control the game. Do to all the politics behind the voting who knows which player will get the most votes

Has anybody seen both teams play this year to compare them because I would like to know how they matchup!! I have seen Peabody a lot this year but I have no clue what Unaka is bringing to the table. I have someone homework for anyone willing to take it. Give me a brief summary of Unaka's team size, offense, defense and any noteworthy wins this year.

Never mind the ole eyes are playing tricks on me you are right gomab2. That game will probably be the best Sub-state game by far!! What do you think about your boy Doaks leading his team to a Region Championship?

This will be interesting to see. Coach Patterson did an excellent job @ Peabody putting back together a program that was almost torn apart by the previous coach and leading them to the semifinals his first year and a state title his second year!! Patterson is a great coach and great leader that gets the most out of his players!! He will be ready Sat. and I think the Lady Tide will be too!! Peabody by 10

How does everyone think this game will pan out? I have only seen S.F. play this year and know with their coach that they will be ready!! S.F. plays great defense but they need to up their offensive output to even the scales a little bit. I know USJ still has Alvey and she is a monster in the paint! What else can we expect out of USJ and South <a href='http://www.coacht.com/inside/team.cfm?SchoolID=159&SportID=2' target='_blank'>Fulton</a>???

Doaks is probably the best athlete in the bunch this year but will get beat out by Skogen from Temple because of his team's accomplishments. With another win or two we will find out if Tony is one of the best in the state!! If he keeps improving and makes a title run this year to get his name recognized across the state he should have a legit chance to be a finalist next year but don't forget Union City and Weddle will be in your district next year and he is one of the best players in AA this year!!

Wow I can't wait to watch this team play in the state tournament. Really can't wait to see Thad play again. This team has had 3 100 point games since tournaments have started. They must really be turning on the O for a state title run!!

I hope this game lives up to everyone's expectations especially mine. I will be there tonight with bells on to see what hopefully will be one of the best games of any tournament across the state!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck to both teams!!! I hope these two put up some big numbers tonight!!
