Amen to that last part Tigerfan. NCS had a lot of scorers too, but with the defense CPA had, it really didn't matter. If CPA plays anyone who defends like they do.....who knows.

I definitely think FRA has as good of a chance as anyone. They have consistently played with CPA, who in my mind is the team to beat in state. Playing Unaka, FRA has a good chance to advance i think. With Temple and Halls being in their half, well, thats just a couple teams i don't know much about (besides Temple got spanked by CPA twice and Halls plays a bunch of teams I've never heard of).

As a lot of people like to say, I'm really not an NCS fan, just a coacht fan. LOL just kidding. Thanks for the compliment. We really aren't bad guys, and i know if it hadn't been for Jamont playing at Glencliff tonight, NCS03 and hsfootballfan would've been there supporting CPA too. Looking forward to hopefully seeing these teams play at state.

Man that is just great to hear. Way to go FRA on the big 4th quarter and win. Nice to see yet another team from Region 5 advance to the final 8 at state (pardon the rhyme). FRA seemed like a much improved team in the region tourney in the game i saw against Goodpasture (having only seen them play NCS a couple times). Like a lot of people have said, it's all about how you're playing at this time of the year. Hopefully FRA will close some mouths in the east where everyone thinks Unaka is going to win state. I know they have the ability. Represent region 5 well and congratulations.

First off, congratulations to CPA and FRA both on winning their sectionals games and getting their teams to state. Tonight CPA was dominant in every category. On defense, they pretty much shut everyone down but #12, who was able to drive and make baskets. Besides him, nobody else on the court for WC seemed to do much of anything. Not saying they don't have anyone, just what i saw tonight. Sikes, Hobgood, and House all played well (on the offensive end especially), as did everyone else. I left a little into the 4th, but CPA was dominating pretty much the whole game up to that point. Props to my boy Chris White for knocking down a huge 3 off the bench in the 2nd that helped CPA get some momentum when they were only up about 7 (never seen a guy that big hit a 3 ). Anyways, great job again to CPA on a solid performance and good luck in state. Hopefully I'll be there cheering on our region.

First of all, the FRA section was a bunch of parents at regions when they played Goodpasture, so that isn't too intimidating. Second, I'll be at the CPA game. I'd rather watch a team play basketball instead of pass it around. Plus Summertown is quite a bit further than CPA. Thanks for the invitation though.

Nobody can make our region look bad, considering all 8 teams are together and 4 of them are usually pretty good. Once again, only a history lesson. How about one for you??? Ezell 5-star recruits- 84 NCS recruits- 0 Let's take this thread back to FRA/Summertown and not let the big 'gina that is RealGoEagles ruin it. I think Summertown is a good team, having only seen them in the summer. They shoot the ball well and do have a decent big guy that looks like #11 from FRA, only taller. If FRA slows the game down and holds the ball with a lead, it will benefit them greatly. If they try and run around with Summertown, they will have a hard time keeping up i think. Good luck to both teams. I'm picking S-town in thebigones, but I don't really care. Represent Region 5 well FRA.

Congratulations on spending all that time it took to talk trash to a bunch of kids. I'd feel pretty bad if i were you, because not only did you waste your time trying to taunt NCS/10A, you're a loser. You probably have no life, and this boney skinned cross-country runner/ ish talker, shares this quality. Good for you guys! Maybe RealGoEagles can get on here, get out his history book, and teach us a few things about NCS and Ezell, and how bad NCS is and will always be. Perhaps after that Fridge can rejoin and be like "hey even though i quit my team, i wanna let you NCS guys know we went further than you!!" After that I'm sure The Future (this guy doesn't have a future by the way) will bring up some stuff about how he was just pointing out how NCS fans are dumb and wrong, even though we were only either being optimistic for or taking up for our team. It doesn't take a very smart person to hate on NCS. I mean, look where they come from (McEwen, FRA, etc.). Hopefully that comment on intelligence will cause people to talk about the education level at NCS and how bad that is, and how our fans and posters reflect that lack of education. It's the same story everytime. I guess haters will be haters.

Man I bet that is EXACTLY it. OK everyone, NCS will never make it very far because of what some students and fans say on coacht. Although they play, the players do not decide how far they go, yet the fans that argue do. Give me a break. Our district may not be very good, but i was making a comment to fan from our district about our district. If you were able to get all that, I hope that's ok with you. Just to clarify, NCS will NEVER go further than we do or can do, simply because of their fans on coacht bragging about a district championship. Thank you for clearing this up ginaboy.

Rather watch a team I'm familiar with. I had my flashy night last night at Antioch. I'm a sucker for 1A.
