And Loretto's District 12A MVP missed two and a half quarters with foul trouble (and had I think 3 points) so it equaled out on that front. Was an over-officiated game I'll give you that but Loretto won because they played good defense and rebounded. Loretto has some tourney experience on this team (3 out of the last 4 state tourneys), so I'm sure that helped. We've played a good schedule and are used to close games. Proud of the Lady Mustangs.

You mTp boys are a riot. Maybe you should go on the road together. Maybe this sounds right. We beat you guys by " a shade" under 24 points. Or maybe I should say "a shade" over 22. Understand what I meant now? When I said that I wasn't sure of mTp's passing yards. Just knew you threw it a lot. Fact of the matter is, you threw for a bunch of yards after we got up as much as we did. We softened our coverage and wanted you to use clock if you scored. So you could complete all those short passes you wanted. After our 6 possessions in the first half all ended in TDs, we weren't really concerned about what you did. Not trying to sound smarmy about it, we just wanted to finish the game healthy and we did. And no Bigby, I wish I was a youngster. I just saw those stats in the Florence,AL paper. I'm so old that I couldn't remember what the yardage was.lol

He did throw for a shade over 300. He also threw it 51 times, completed less than 50% and threw 3 picks. We also dropped at least 2 more we should've have caught. LHS was up 42-13 at the half so he threw it around alot.

We've played really well offensively the last 3 weeks. Hope we can keep it up next week at Eagleville. Mt.Pleasant is loaded with athletes and I believe our trip to Ft.Campbell last week helped us prepare for the game tonight. Personnel and scheme wise, the two teams are alot alike. The first half tonight was probably the best we've played all year. Now off to Eagleville next week. GO MUSTANGS!!!

That's why we're not on here constantly arguing with you. According to you, mTp has given the game away 5 times this year. Nobody has beaten them except for the refs in our game. Of course, anybody who saw the game knows that those penalties, not the two fumbles and INT on the fake punt, turned a 8-7 lead for mTp into a 29-8 deficit. Honestly, if #5 and #10 both play, it'll be a good game that could go either way. Loretto is playing better on offense that they've played all year so mTp is gonna have to score quite a few points to win the game. So if #5 and #10 don't play, I don't think they'll have the playmakers to score enough.

Wasn't anything to say. We lost. Unlike Bigby, we don't get on here and whine about what happened. We lost all hope of winning when our QB got hurt. Game was 0-0 at the time and caused us to change our offense and defense since our backup QB is a starter on D.

My problem with your crap is that you have repeatedly talked about how Loretto did nothing to win the game with mTp. You're wrong on that count. The 1st fumble occurred when your QB was attempting to hand off and was hit by a LHS defender. Loretto's CB came up and recovered the fumble. on the interception, mTP mad a bad read and right before he was tackled tried to make a play. Loretto's S made a play on the ball and picked it off. We MADE plays. Your team had every opportunity to keep was out of the endzone and couldn't. Here we are in another thread' about another game that doesn't involve your team, and you're still around yapping about the loss. Oh yeah, calling people JACK after trying to make a point is not funny unless you're Uncle SI and really gets old. Good luck to mTp the rest of the way. Maybe they won't give away anymore games.

I think its cocky that you have fans saying WC not only will win, but as some say, will win big and llmit Loretto to 7 points. There's a difference between being confident in your team and talking crap that, so far, the numbers of past games don't bear out. Again, safe travels if you choose to attend.

Just can't let it go can you. Loretto caused and took advantage of mTp mistakes. Its part of the game. You had your shot and you lost. Your special teams sucked and that cost you 2 TDs. The 3rd TD came when your best player had a punt/pass option and chose wrong. Deal with it. By the way, you're only score in the 1st half came on a 61 yd run. You didn't control the ball or the clock. So try again. Better yet, my advice, if you'll take it, is to let it go. You've got another game coming up to talk about don't you?

One in every crowd. Who said anything about not respecting the WC defense? Not a soul but you guys tell yourselves whatever to get you fired up. Expect it to be a good game but hope your guys show up as cocky and overconfident as you are. For a .500 team that lost to Collinwood with all their injuries, ya'll talk a lot of crap. Maybe it stands to reason that the 2 teams that beat Loretto have 9 wins and would beat everybody Wayne Co has played. Essentially, WC has played one more 2-2 team than us and lost to them. Against the 2 common opponents, WC is 1-1 and has outscored them 26-13. Loretto is 2-0 and outscored them 61-9 (if you count the 6 Perry Co starters scored on Loretto's B-team). Doesn't matter. Whoever wins the turnover battle will win the game. Safe travels to the WC fans coming to LoTown. Should be a good game.

Alright, the QB for mTp stepped up in the pocket to throw. He got hit high and low and folded up. Happens all the time and should not have been called the other night. We get that you didn't like it but it was a clean, football play. Nobody from Loretto "wrenched" his neck or pinned his head for leaverage. That's a terrible statement to make when it is not what happened.

Doesn't sound like he was complaining. Just that he wants to see us pass more. Passing game seemed to work against mTp pretty well. Only threw 8 passes and completed 4 for 87 yards. If we average 20+ yards a completion, we're doing smething right. Should've gotten beat by MTP?? Missed that game did you??? Loretto was up 29-8, so how do you figure they should've gotten beat by MTP?

Collinwood scored 3 on Loretto and lost by 17. Wayne Co only managed 6 on Collinwood. Perry Co got 6 on Loretto's b-team by playing their starters. Loretto scored 41 in 3 quarters. So Loretto will win if we're comparing scores of common opponents.
