Is their open enrollment between MC and Adamsville?

It seems like there has been several coaches come to Munford, have little to no success then leave as soon as they can(not speaking of the latest..obviously a different situation). There has to be some other issue going on.

Still no names of candidates? Anyone know when they hope to have somone in place? Doubt it..

Could be wrong but I believe they are losing quite a bit from this past years team.

Just spoke to a Dyersburg coach. Dyersburg coaches nor admin. agreed to cancel the game tonight. Obion called this morning and Dyersburg said they wanted to play. Obion got the TSSAA involved to have the game postponed. This game being scheduled on Thursday was never about money but a competitive advantae. Guess obion felt they wouldn't have that advantage tonight so they changed it again. Shame on your coach.

Why are the playing on Thursday? Don't believe it is for television reasons either.

Should be a great game! I would like to think that Dburg would win this one if they can get their turnover problems worked out and playing at home should only help. I hear that CC has some big boys up front.. Safe travel for all those who are making the trip! Anyone know what kind of defense CC is running?

Pulling for Dyersburg but would have to say that Covington has an advantage by playing at home and by the time the two teams meet they will have already played 2 games compared to Dyersburg with 1.

What? The HC was literally not there? I also heard that Dyersburg got up 2 scores to 0 against South Gibson and started subbing players in.. Anyone know if there is truth to this?

The game in Alamo was a lot closer than the final score that year. It was 21-14 before Rashad threw a pick on our last drive in the 4th quarter. Dyersburg played very poorly(lots of penalties and blown assignments) and CC deserved to win. Also if CC could have blown them out they would because there was no reason for them to score the last TD to make it 28-14. They could have easily run the clock out. On the year before yes Shaun was out but the score was not even close. Covington in the Second round in Alamo. Dyersburg would beat Covington the next week 14-0. Congrats to D-Burg tonight on the win! Sounded like a great game on both sides

An average squad? that squad as juniors went 10-0, had a region championship and blew Crockett Co out in Dyersburg on Homecoming! Then as seniors they went 12-2 and to the state semis but they did lose to crockett in Alamo and had just as much or more talent. The big running backs name was Jarvis Perry and the two Johnson twins were in the backfield with him. All three signed with martin but I do not believe the twins are still there. Can anyone clarify that because I did not see them on the ut martin roster?

Mclin played freshmen ball for Dyersburg before transfering to the county right before his sophomore season.

Stevie I am not talking about D1 signees galore with SEC schools or anything. We all know that Dyersburg is not a hotbed for D1 athletes. I seemed like some were saying that Dyersburg does not have any talent. They may not have as many D1 signees but that school does have some good athletes but not compared to Haywood or Covington.
