Red Bank is a good team, well coached, and some of the hardest working players I have witnessed. Red Bank hits well and so does Baylor( Baylor is a good hitting team). Obviously there is a lot of parity in softball this year, any team is capable of playing an opponent tough, as well many teams have shown they can compete on many classification levels.
The proof is in the scores this season in Chattanooga, where many teams have shown the ability to win big games against big opponents in and out of town.
How could any team claim the right as the best? (Soddy could, yet they must finish the deal)
The truth is that teams must continue to schedule tough opponents and compete in big tournaments to gain confidence, some level of consistency, and the respect of other programs.
Once again, many teams have talked the talk, yet have not walked the walk!
Good luck to all programs throughout the state as post-season approaches!!!!
