If MP’s QB is out it100% affects their chances of winning. I was thinking of picking them against Loretto next week, but not if he doesn’t play.

Waverly is very capable of winning this game.

I saw Waverly tonight and was very impressed. Big, physical line and #9 lived up to his hype. He is really good. The game against LC should be a good one.

Didn't hear anything about MP’s QB, but Loretto’s is out for the year. Loretto is starting a Sophomore who is very good and Athletic.

Looking at 5AA Mount Pleasant is by far the most athletic and talented team. They are the team that is most likely to have a big upset in the playoffs. Loretto has more speed than they have had in the past, but their inconsistency is in question. Lewis county is a mixture of experience and youth. Starting two freshman and three sophomores has shown early in the year, but it is my believe that they are the best team in the region today. Waverly is Waverly, and I would not count them out, even though they are playing a lot of young people they have play makers. The matchup in the playoffs will be interesting. I am not ready to predict who will win yet, but I do not believe that region six is as dominant over region five as most would think.

First, Loretto and Lewis are both good teams. The question is how good? LC out gained Loretto in total yards 52-458 to 51-285, but Loretto was able to hold LC inside the 5 twice by roughing them up and also forced 3 ints. I have seen MP against Wayne Co and both Lewis and Loretto are capable of beating them, if they continue to implode. No doubt that MP is the most talented team with more team speed than both LC and Loretto or any other team in the region. LC will have to play flawlessly to win. The jury is still out on LC because of the inconsistency in their play.

They have played 58 times with LC holding a slight edge 31-27. MP has won the last two meetings.

Great game Panthers. Man, don’t be surprised if this team is back next year. It was a hard fought game on both sides. Either team could have won. The border line calls did not determine this game, the teams did. Blaming the refs is an argument that nobody can win.

Riverside was disciplined and you were not if, if, if never sets well as an excuse when you get it took to you by a better team.

Along way from picking them to get beat by Loretto in the first round.
