AA - Jesse "J TRAIN" Lane

Chadd Browder plays on JV, and almost lost a game to Central at Volunteer. He missed a wide open lay up that would have put the game away. He also had a million turnovers against Central later that night on varsity. These guys play JV and almost got beat by Central's, that has no players who get any minutes on varsity. Come on.

I don't think we should big ragging too much on Ike. I got a lot of respect for that guy. If he couldn't do anything more than stand under the goal and score I wouldn't even say this, but he can shoot pretty good and has nice moves. But I still give Hess the nod, because man can he play. And for anybody saying he's fat, well he gets up and down the court pretty good I would have to say. Just give him two years and there will be no discussion on this comparison. Once he gets to be the go-to guy, well, we'll just wait and see.

Who is that guy from Hampton with the blonde, spiked up hair. He's pretty good and I know he is only a junior. I even conisdered him to be on my pics from the all-conference team. If Jordan Honeycutt, I think thats his name, comes back they could really have something to build on. Those two guys are tough from what I saw.

Great win last night. I believe Central impressed everyone last night. Erik Leonard, well he stepped up about as high as he could. He played his heart out. Beverly played great as well. I was happy to be up in the stands rooting for you all. I look forward to going to state.

If Central can light it up, you never know. The odds don't look too good but they are pretty determined. Of course, we weren't supposed to beat Alcoa, South Greene, even Unicoi. But they seemed to find a way to get it done. I hope this is the case down there.

Yeah, I gained a lot of respect for HV after they cheered for us like they did.

Happy Valley could have been something really good this year.

I think UC may have a chance. If they can play their type of game and not get into an up and down game it could be close. I really don't think AE posts can stop Weaver. If I was UC, I would get it down to him every play.

The newstation that was covering the game got the fight. I saw the man run to the court where he could get the whole thing on camera.

Great, crazy game. I really wish Unicoi would sit on there own side so maybe all of these brawls would quit happening. The constables only took out one Unicoi fan. Back to the game, Central really came through when they needed to. J Train hit probably the biggest shot of the night. My hats off to those Unicoi boys though. Great game.

I just want to know if Unicoi fans can paint their chests? Because Unicoi's principal won't let Central's fans. Pretty ridicolous, but I guess I should have seen it coming.

Looks like were back in the championship even out of the tougher bracket. Hope it's another rematch.

Yeah, I would call 12 points a beating.

There will probably be a lot of changes made defensively and offensively. Central doesn't lose two games in a row like that. On the other hand, it looks like Central is barely picked to win the game, looks like they are gonna be in for another hard game. Hope they come out and play.

Well take away Ike Weaver's 22 points and UC don't have the District.

It's a good thing Hughes doesn't play a lot. He has dominated over Weaver everytime they have played in AAU.

That freshman did play pretty well though, including for hardly ever going in during a varsity game.

Everyone knows who should have gotten it. Weaver did have 22, what did Sparks have 4 points and a million cheap shots? And Hess gave Sparks a bunch of turnovers.

Also, Sparks getting the MVP is a joke. Everyone in the building knew who should have gotten it. At least he didn't run his mouth to Central's fans this time.

This isn't a home game for Unicoi, it's the district. That's why they had signs saying which way for them to go. I guess 1 out 3 ain't that bad though.

Bad game from Central. Defense was probably the worst I have seen all year. Hopefully, Central can get there act together for the Regionals. I hope it comes down to us and Unicoi in the championship again. I think your one win against us won't become two. Also, I wish your fans would relize this isn't a home game for Unicoi, this is the District. Maybe you all should try and read where you are supposed to sit. Thanks for the Happy Valley fans who rooted for us.
