stars dont have much of a chance. They are 3rd best in the state probably but, TNFC and MFC are much better. If MFC and TNFC get grouped together in the first round then stars will have a shot.

Centennial's defense was pinned in their own half, not purposely, for about the last 60 minutes. Hendersonville had numerous chances to win and Centennial had approximately 0 or maybe 1 shot in the second half. They did what they had to to the result, but by no means was the better team.

game analysis: centennial scores 3 early goals on 3 key mistakes in the back and they do basically nothing after that. 3-1 at half. hendersonville played well the last 60 min and should have won, or at least tied up the game. they were so many headers and shots that were just wide, and the pk miss. it was all very unlucky. centennial probably had maybe a couple shots in the second half, but nothing too serious. hendersonville possessed the ball and kept pounding away. it was just one of those games. im not knocking centennial, theyre a pretty good team and played hard but i feel hendersonville was superior. i spoke with a couple of centennial's players after the game and they said they were extremely lucky to make it out of the game winning 3-2. i feel we werent prepared for this game, too busy looking ahead. ive never played with a group of people that cared so much, especially the seniors. to go out like this is unbearable. my season was up and down, mostly down though. i hope to play better next year, we'll still be a pretty good team. im looking forward to it. good luck to centennial against bearden, you guys played well tonight.

pope john paul II does have the best field, from which ive seen, but they are only a jv team this year.

not tryin to bash riverdale, but their results have been descent, not great, but it is the tournament, so who knows.

smyrna is inconsistent, therefore if they play well, 2-1 smyrna.

my club wins state about every other year, so when i say i would rather win a high school state championship, i dont mean id rather win state for high school every year instead of club, but to win both would be good.

if youve ever played the club teams from atlanta, you would know parkview is good. the atlanta clubs are ranked in the top 10 or 20 in every age group and parkview is where a lot of those good players go to school. i dont see how you could say farragut would rip parkview. maybe they could beat them, but probably nothing by more than one goal.

yes, iceland does have a national team in real life, the only descent player is eidur gudjhonsen that plays for chelsea, other than that they have nobody. i would stick with the iceland hockey team.

don't get me wrong, i do like club better than high school, and there are much better players in club, but in tn, in my age group there are only about 3 teams that can actually compete in the state tournament, and everybody else is so-so. it really depends what club and high school you play for and how good each team is. a good club team can win the state championship pretty consistently in tn , where in high school, most teams are up and down every season.

id rather win state for high school because there are more competitive teams than there are clubs. club soccer is a much better way to get recognized if you want to play after high school and the quality of play is better than high school.

i play for hillsboro and club ball with jason sparks and the player from hendersonville, i think youre talking about micheal bolt.jason plays right back for centennial, micheal plays striker for hendersonville. theyre both good players, sparks is more of a midfielder that can possess the ball well and wins tackles and micheal bolt, when hes playing well, can be a very good goalscorer.

brentwood has a good side, they beat franklin jv 5-0.

i have seen brentwood and farragut both play, and brentwood looks about one goal better than farragut. they are both very strong teams though and will be incredibly hard to beat.

sorry, jeff didnt make region pool this year, i was at camp with him and he was not chosen, he is a good player though and one of the best underclassmen.

i play for tnfc 88, im a freshman, the brentwood club my age is not know for their good players, and they do not have any odp players, does he play 87 odp or 87 club, hes not on my 88 odp team.

as a spectator of this game, i saw that scott brelsford scored the first goal, im sure of that. xander got the second. smyrnas goals were off a gk mistake and they got the rebound and the other was an own goal, i believe, but im not sure who it was. there were many claims for penalties for hendersonville and i saw at least one should have been definetly called, but it was a hard fought match.
