  1. What time is the Cheatham-Waverly game on Monday?
  2. HMMM!!! Wonder who this is? Lexington should have no trouble winning this district...that is IF they continue to get better. This team has been solid the last few years, but the biggest problem has been that they peak too early. I think that this team has what it takes to go all the way if they dont become complacent with themselves.
  3. In 12AA I gotta say that Lexington is probably favored to win the district. Bolivar and Liberty are also strong teams. You can probably look for two of these three to move out of district play.
  4. Lexington looks to be in the best shape they have been in a while. Terry Odle will be a great addition to the coaching staff. I dont care what anybody says, the man knows the game, and he knows how to do things right. Look for the L-train to be be rolling strong strong during the post season.
  5. Sycamore and Harpeth? Im from the other district in that region. How is that district supposed to pan out this year. I know its early, just speculation of coarse.
  6. someone here that has a little bit of knowledge about some teams across the state please make a list
  7. Of coarse we people from Lexington will tend to pick ourselves. But Lexington should not look past the likes of Bolivar and Liberty. Lexington seems to have a strong team every year but the biggest of our problems seems to be that we peak too early. For this team to be where its needed to be in the post season they are going to have to improve week after week.
  8. Of coarse Milan aint gonna give nobody no credit unless their last name is White. Spellings is a great all around player dont know the kid personally, but he does things right, and lets his play talk for itself. Is he D1? Cant say, but I would say that at the very least if he has another season like last year, he would be a great pick up for a D1-AA team.
  9. not sure of the exact score, but it was Lexington by 25 or 30
  10. OMG.........Finally somebody with some sense!!!!!!!!!! You know after I read the bashes on the Gardners year after year, i began to see just how many ignorant people were posting on here. The fact of this matter is that Lexington has ONE ball handler and his name is Mack Gardner. People will say " well we got killed by Liberty because Mack turned the ball over a lot more than usual"....well DUH... its hard to play one on five when you are bringing the ball up the court. There are so many people with absolutely no knowledge of the game of basketball in this town if they think that someone else should be starting in Mack's place.... You know its kinda like Steve Spurrier says..."IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT.... GET BETTER"
  11. Here is the link to what should be an exciting weekend of basketball. http://www.marshall.k12.ky.us/mchs/sports/hoopfest_2005.htm
  12. Kemp is the best PG in the state. By the way, I was at the Real Deal on the Hill. All that was said is true. I remember watching him against the Midstate Ballerz and he was quiet for most of the game, as the Pump N Run were down by 5 until about 2 minutes left. Willie time, once again. Sends the game into overtime with a layup while being double teamed and takes over in OT. It is a joy to watch Willie play and he seems like a very humble person also. I wish him the best of luck in the future.
  13. Would like to invite everyone down to Lexington to enjoy what should be a good weekend of high school basketball.

  15. Lexington's Chase Grissom and Sam Hinson have played well this summer and should be two of the top golfers in the state next year.
  16. hmmm.... sounds pretty smart to me
  17. I dont know who started this thread but they started it under my name!
  18. I believe that you need to look at the big picture of things. Maybe a district championship isnt all that great to a powerhouse like Chester Co. or someone like that but when you look at the past few seasons on Lexington's girls bball program this would make a pretty good year.... no we are not talkin about a state or region title but lets take things one step at a time.
  19. What about this Ferrel kid....is he their ace?
  20. Would have really liked to have seen this one. Im from west TN and hear a lot about this soddy daisy team. Did they lose a lot from last year, or merely have a bad game.... just wondering.
  21. WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THIS COMING FROM? In replying to this message, im presently sitting beside Coach Carmen with the BIG TIME COACHING EXPERIENCE. and she assures me that this is not true. As all the public can see the LHS girls program seems to have started a turn around this year. This year's team came 4 points from a district championship and 2 points away from the second round of a region tourney. I have no idea where you are getting your information, but you had better check your sources seems like to me there shooting you a line of BS. Although a great softball and volleyball coach i dont believe that her FIVE years of head coaching experience hardly qualifies as BIG TIME ACTUAL EXPERIENCE! and to both of these coaches KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
