It was a very good game, it wouldn't have been as close though if Beechboard and Thurman could've hit their shots...They were getting good looks they just couldn't finish them, Beechboard still had 18 but wouldve had 30 if her shots would've fell. Great job by both teams though

Beechboard is taking it this year in AA, that is if she can get over the slump she is in right now. When she is on top of her game, she is amazing.

LA, hopefully the terrible play they've had the past couple of weeks will motivate them to come back stronger than ever throught the rest of the season and into the postseason. GO LADY CATS!

If my math is correct, after tonight her average fell all the way down to 19.3

Since coming back from the Christmas break Beech has only been averaging 14.6, which is good...But so much less than what she's capable of. Her and the rest of the team need to get back on track if shes gonna get 2,000 and win a state title

If Clarkrange hadn't went absolutely stone cold in the second half they wouldve won by double digits. LA better not show up like that next week or they'll be 4-2 in the district. Congrats to both teams.

No, it doesn't put her at 1777 it puts her at 1759...I was talking about going into TONIGHT's game being the game on Saturday, January 17 against Clarkrange.

Going into tonight's game Beechboard has 1759. If they go as far as they should, and she averages the points she should...She will get 2,000.

Yes, I have to agree with you there...Although I don't feel I'm completely wrong. At the beginning of the season they were playing awesome. Everybody was playing smart and getting after it night in and night out. Now, Beechboard is not scoring as much as normal, Thurman's ppg average has slipped considerably and is getting in foul trouble in every game and theyre just...I don't know what it is. I also agree with you in the fact that Baltimore has finally decided to step up and she has been playing great. Mullins controlled the boards at Jackson Co. and was one of the reaons they won. If they can get everybody back on track, playing like they can play, they can end this season with just the 2 losses they have right now. But, will they?

Very original. LOL, Yours is somewhat longer than mine but, hopefully I'll get to add 4 more games before this year is over. Yes, Jackson Co. has dominated us the last few years but im feeling a shift in power....Maybe...Some day...My signature will take up that much space.

If LA continues their sloppy, horrible playing they would be lucky to win a Jr. Pro tournament. I mean...They only had 3 field goals in the entire second half last night against SMITH COUNTY. However, if they play like we all know they can, teams that can beat them are going to come far and few between. I believe they will take it all the way. They have talent, good coaching, and Beechboard. LA ALL THE WAY!

The score was low because of the incredible defense played by both sides. Both of these teams are very deserving of all the hype they get. There are VERY few AA teams that can beat either one of them.

Congrats to LA, they won, but it wasn't pretty. If we can keep Thurman in the game, and hit our foul shots...We can beat anyone we come across, no doubt. I just hate Childress had to go out the way she did, that was the prettiest block I've ever seen...How did she actually hurt it anyways...Did she come down and stumble, or what...Because from where I was sitting it didn't look like there was any contact at all. I agree...I don't know what has gotten into these girls...I don't know if they've already psyched themselves out for JC game or what...But, yeah, if they don't play any better than they did Tuesday, JC can walk all over them...As bad as we all know I hate to admit it.

Yes, LA tied the game at 24 in the 3rd quarter and Sevier Co. went on a 13-0 run and it was all over after that. LA panicked and there for a while would just bring the ball down the floor and throw up the first 3 they could get and they weren't hitting anything. The game should've been closer than 23.

If LA will play like they did today, with a lot less turnovers...They can play with them. I don't know how good their chances are of winning, but if they dont win they are certainly capable of giving Sevier a run for their money. Have times been set for the championship and consolation games yet? My schedule says TBA.
