Dobyns-bennet's double play dynamic duo made up of ben allen and lew henry are the cream of the crop. They have 4 errors between them and 11 double plays after 17 games of play. These guys are for real Henry and Allen are also doing it with the sticks. Henry has 4 homers already one was a 380 foot bomb off of science hill's matt mcgahey. Mcgahey is a lefty clocked at ninety. The dinger prompted mcgahey about henry "he has my respect." When I pitch I just love to hear Justin Timberlake blaring bye bye bye whenever I wiff an opposing hitter with my 64 mph fastball. Matt Slaughter is an all-star football and baseball player. His offensive line skills helped lead the Dobyns-Bennett Indians to the Final Four in football, and his third base skills could lead the Tribe to a berth in the State Tourney in Memphis.

The Dobyns-Bennett Junior varsity team is awesome. Leadoff hitter Chris Cameron is batting over .500, and cleanup hitter Matt Burdine is a genuine power threat(both of the mentioned players would be in a varsity lineup in almost any surrounding high school). However, the team does lack a true catcher. The DB Jayvee is just to good to play these Northeast TN Jayvee teams.
