Dobyns-bennet's double play dynamic duo made up of ben allen and lew henry are the cream of the crop. They have 4 errors between them and 11 double plays after 17 games of play. These guys are for real Henry and Allen are also doing it with the sticks. Henry has 4 homers already one was a 380 foot bomb off of science hill's matt mcgahey. Mcgahey is a lefty clocked at ninety. The dinger prompted mcgahey about henry "he has my respect." When I pitch I just love to hear Justin Timberlake blaring bye bye bye whenever I wiff an opposing hitter with my 64 mph fastball. Matt Slaughter is an all-star football and baseball player. His offensive line skills helped lead the Dobyns-Bennett Indians to the Final Four in football, and his third base skills could lead the Tribe to a berth in the State Tourney in Memphis.

The Dobyns-Bennett Junior varsity team is awesome. Leadoff hitter Chris Cameron is batting over .500, and cleanup hitter Matt Burdine is a genuine power threat(both of the mentioned players would be in a varsity lineup in almost any surrounding high school). However, the team does lack a true catcher. The DB Jayvee is just to good to play these Northeast TN Jayvee teams. Justin Crawford has the overall athletism and best swing ever. I have heard that his arm is comparable to a cannon However volunteer still rules. A close second is leadoff hitter Lew Henry of DB he has the speed comparable to that of Db basketball player Reid burton go church hill falcons

That is right, the volunteer falcons rule the watauga conference. The only threat is star sullivan central player Justin Crawford. He is awseome (he played at db last year but decided he was too good for those city boys). Go Church Hill Falcons

As another season of topper baseball begins, there is only one word that comes to mind. That word is loser, because that's what the science hill hilltoppers are, a bunch of losers. As anyone can see the hilltoppers do not match up to my volunteer falcons (god bless em). They don't even match up to my cousins sullivan east patriots. Just wait till the Falcons get a hold of um in the Crystal Springs Tourney in the final, once they beat DB and other teams. Go Church Hill Falcons

NO ONE CARES ABOUT FRESHMAN BASEBALL. The best Freshman at even very good AAA high schools play JV. No one, I repeat no one, cares one bit about the scores of freshman games. All that matters is player development.

ok, we've been producing good players for the past few years now. And this year there are some good senior on the team, but I think that Volunteer has the best junior AND senior class in the area for baseball. I am anxious to see what the Falcons can do this year. I know that Unicoi is within our grasp, but also do not forget North's pitching. Good luck with the season, and I plan to see the Falcons in the top 3 in conference (if not 1st) all year long.
