Riverdale will have to play Lincoln County. If they win their first game and Lawrence County wins theirs they will play each other in the second round. That will be a great game!

Congratulations to all the teams in 8AAA who made it to the Region tournament. Looking at the brackets Lawrence County and Riverdale will have to play each other if they win their first game. Both of these teams will not make it out of the Region Tournament. I think Riverdale's loss shows that anyone can be beat on any given night.

Shelbyville wins over Archbishop Carroll 81-72. They will now play Lexington Catholic who is rated the number 4 team in the nation tomorrow night in the semi-finals.

Shelbyville and Greeneville both looked good to me.

There were two technicals called during the game. One on the Knoxville Webb coach and one on a Webb player after being called for a foul. There was some really rough play on both sides. I don't know of any fan ejections during the game. There were some problems after the game with some unhappy Webb fans, but I am not sure of the outcome of this.
