  1. I will not take anything away from Livingston, they played really well. But if you watch the game last Friday night against Siegel and the one last night against LA, you will see two totally different Cookeville teams. The one friday night wanted to win badly and played a full 32 minutes (i think thats how long a hs bball game is). The one last night did not even look like they wanted to play at all. Almost as if it were a chore or something.
  2. I dont understand how wolf is the only one deserving. Stearman and Hennigan are just as deserving. THose 3 players have given their hearts to Cookeville Football and Basketball just as Shane Bates and Austin Norton. And as a fan Im appreciative of all 5 of them.
  3. drew henson was also in the AAA for the yankees and now he's a backup for the Cowboys
  4. I know Cookeville plays at Livingston on Tuesday and I think at Jackson County on Friday. Are there any other teams who are playing this week?
  5. yea, i like all of yalls signature pictures
  6. does he have an outside shot, cause for him to excell at the college level he would have to have some sort of jump shot out of the paint
  7. Yes Cookeville did have their football players, but if you watched the game you noticed none of them played as well as they usually do. They were not in basketball shape, now i believe they are. Cookeville should win this one. THey practically beat a real good Siegel team. But the game is not played here on the message boards.
  8. Cookeville usually has a good turnout for the basketball games, but it seems as if it is more of a social event
  9. Siegel is a good team, but im gonna take Oakland in that matchup in January. Oakland was a good team last year and I think they are a much better team this year. I see Siegel winning it with Cookeville in second, then Oakland and Riverdale
  10. he does have good skill, but he will need to grow
  11. I think others think he is better in bball since he has had more success there
  12. I saw you there in the front row with your hair and jacket
  13. Just a good game for a fan of high school basketball. I was real surprised at how well Siegel shot the 3 ball, I knew they could shoot it well, but not 75% that insane. Where as Cookeville usuaully will drop close to ten of them a night. I was surprised to see only about 5 of them go in. Siegel is a real good team that will most likely go deep into the postseason and Cookeville good team that could play spoiler in the postseason
  14. I dont know about you, but i thought the officiating was pretty fair, there were a couple times i thought a charge should have been called instead of blocking, but that could be cause they were against Cookeville.
  15. It was a great game to watch if you did not have a dog in the fight. As for me, i was heartbroken that a shot that looked so bad ( it was about 6in from not even hitting the backboard) could bank in for a win. Wolf did an excellent job guarding Oden, Henningan played well as did Hill. I don't know about anyone else who was attending the game, but it seemed like that last 3.5 seconds seemed to be closer to 5 or 6 seconds. Cookeville showed great poise from coming behind by 9 points and came within 6 in and 3,5 seconds from beating one of the top teams in the state.
  16. nothing is wrong with playing a little high school football
  17. This might have been posted earlier, but i dont feel like reading it and i havent been on the T much lately... What happened to Ramsey and how long is he out? He has been an exciting player in the two years ive seen Siegel play Cookeville.
  18. I think Cookeville is going to win it this year. They will beat Warren Cty and then pull and upset against Siegel at Cookeville.
  19. Cookeville should and will win this game. They have great talent on the perimeter. Hennigan, Wolf, Akers, Hill, and stearman can all shoot well. Cookeville's football players have been back a week and should have their legs under them more than they have in the past 2 games. Go Cavs
  20. Im not from Warren Cty, but I do know that they had 2 more district wins than they did last season. Is this a bad thing? And did his marrital situation have anything to do with it?
  21. Yea, i guess i had forgotten about him since there are few cases when a freshman plays alot in 5A football.
  22. I forgot that the U of R can do that one. Seems to be helpful in the long run
  23. How can a high school player play in 5 state championships? Last remember high school was a 4 year school. And even at that I am pretty sure that Riverdale has a freshmen team so wouldnt it only be 3?
  24. what if your GPA is the same as how many championships you have played in?
  25. i would make double and keep one of the copies then put the other on Ebay for some money
