  1. Both of these are bigger than the cracker box at Summertown.
  2. All I have to say about Anne Marie Lanning is that those of us who love Lady Cat Basketball here in Lawrence County sure were and are sorry that you guys decided to move back to the 'Boro. Go Anne Marie!!! Not only is she a great player, but she is also a VERY sweet girl. (And I am not even related to ANY of the Lannings...lol )
  3. Most of the girls on the 12U team are not the girls who played with the traveling squad this fall. Most of these girls were playing MS ball at EO Coffman and couldn't play on the travel squad. As for coaching as a concern in someone's earlier post, last year's 11U team went through a coaching change mid-season. They are under the lead of the coach who finished the season with them last year. No offence to the first coach last year, he is a great basketball coach, but this set of girls played much better at the end of the season under Coach Marston. I look for good things from them this year.
  4. Looking out the classroom window, there are already folks lined up here at GCHS for tickets. There have been since before 2:00. Good luck to all who are going to face the crowd tonight. LOL
  5. Congratulations to Andre and the other winners. To those who were nominated, congratulations on the honor of being named amoung the top three in your division in the state. That in itself is a tremendous honor.
  6. Tyler isn't going anywhere.
  7. Giles County is more than an hour from Murfreesboro. It is about an hour and a half to 2 hours depending upon which way you go. There is no easy and direct way to get to Murfreesboro from here...lol. Kudos to our students and fans. You are great. I am proud to be associate with this school.
  8. This is a difficult post for me to make being a Lawrence County fan, but here it goes...lol Good Luck, Eagles!!!! Okay...whew I did it...lol. I know we no longer play one another, but I remember the old days when the rivalry was fierce. Bring back a gold ball to Lawrence Co.
  9. Come on up to the 'Boro with us and yell for the Cats. BTW...I hugged Travis after the game the other night and got his sweat on my hand. I wiped it on a towel for you girls from Hoehnwald...LOL
  10. You wouldn't have missed half the game. The last person in the long line went through the gate at about five till 7. [Edited by MrsLadyCatsFan on 3-11-03 12:35P]
  11. Then you obviously didn't try. The game was not a sell-out. The gates never closed. Now, the line was backed up quite a way, but the game did not sell out. Maybe you should have gotten into line and bought a ticket to get in...LOL.
  12. If Fulton wants to win, they better have at least 5+ someones to keep all of the Giles County starting five (and any of the bench mobbers) in check. Giles County has proven over and over that they are not a one man team. Good luck Bobcats!!! You deserve this shot!
  13. MRS.??? Are all of these girls married??? LOL
